March Reading Wrap Up 2025
March was a mix of hard moments and fun moments. We had some sickness and I feel like I read more this month trying to relax from the stressful times. I read 25 books in March, but several were 2-stars so they won't be mentioned here. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in reading my review.

The Cupid Chronicles
Series: Only Magic in the Building
Author: Courtney Walsh
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: Contemporary Romance, RomCom,
Source: Kindle Unlimited
My Review:
The Cupid Chronicles by Courtney Walsh is the second book in the Only Magic in the Building series. It is a standalone book. These closed door, whimsical romance books are all set in the same historic building, which has a habit of playing matchmaker with its residents. There are light magical elements, but no spells, shifters, or dark magic.

Top Ten Tuesday-Spring Possibilities round 2
Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is: Books I DNFed for whatever reason. I feel like we had this topic recently, but it's not one that I care to do, so I am going to do round two of my spring TBR. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Characters with glasses
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic Covers with [Item] on the Cover (You choose the item! It can be anything at all.) I decided to go with characters with glasses on, but think I should have gone a different direction, LOL! It was hard! Not surprisingly, most of the ones I found were romcoms. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-FALLing for reading
Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books I Read/Avoided Because of the Hype (and did you make the right choice?) I tend to avoid books that are super hyped, for whatever reason that is a turn off to me. Sometimes I will end up reading a hyped book years later, but probably wouldn't have enough to make a list from. So, I am going to go with books that are great to read in the fall. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Ten-ish books that are great for reading in the fall: (click on the book cover if you want to see my review of the book)
The sweater weather series are loosely tied together by their cozy fall romcom vibe and take place in the same town, Harvest Hollow.

Summer of Yes

Author: Courtney Walsh
Publisher: Thomas Nelson
Genre: Women's Fiction,
Source: Library
I recommend reading several reviews before deciding whether or not to read The Summer of Yes. Don't rely on my words alone, but find the critical reviews. Stop looking at reviewers who only give 4 or 5 stars because not all books should be rated that high. On my blog I only feature books that (to me) are 3 stars or higher, but I do rate lower and mark my DNF books on Goodreads.

I read 17 books and DNF'd one (which is the exact same as June 😮, although I had more novella's in July). Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday Characters I’d Like to go on Vacation With (Pretend you’re going on vacation and can bring 10 of your closest friends with you. Pick your vacation spot and tell us who you’d like to bring! Bonus point if you tell us why. Or maybe you like the idea of traveling in small groups, so plan 10 trips or 5 trips!) I don't have the best memory for remembering characters and honestly wouldn't want to go on vacation with most of them. Therefore, it will be a week where I go off topic again. Today, I will be sharing my Top books read for the first quarter of 2024.
