Stacking the Shelves #200 Sunday Post #197 Sunday Salon #191

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? This week was better than last week, but still busy. I ended up having Monday off because of the weather, Tuesday I ran a bunch of errands. When I got home my son was running a temp of 103.3, so off to the doctor he went, he tested positive for Covid 😭. He had started getting a sore throat Sunday, of course we didn't distance or anything, because Covid was the furthest thing from our minds. Wednesday found at CVS for soft tissues and more Covid tests (I was negative), as of right now, my husband and I are okay. I already had Thursday and Friday scheduled off from work, which worked out great because I could not risk taking the germs into their house (I am a nanny). Thursday I had a follow-up appointment for the aneurysm, all went well and I will have a new scan a year from now. Friday my husband and I went on a field trip to look at a home builder to see if it is an option for our next home, and had a nice lunch at a local coffee shop. This weekend we will mostly be laying low (and continuing to pray we don't get sick). What are you up to?

Top Ten Tuesday-No book slump here

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic isBooks Guaranteed to Put an End to Your Book Slump (Which books would you recommend to someone (it’s me, I’m someone) dealing with the dreaded book slump? No book is grabbing their attention or making them excited to sit down and read and they are suffering for it.) I can't guarantee that these books would get everyone out of a book slump, but these are books that would get me out of a book slump. I was originally going to just go with romcoms, but I decided to be a bit more versatile. The thing they all have in common: the stories stuck with me. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

May 2024 Reading Wrap Up

May was a crazy, busy month with two trips. I feel like I did more reading toward the end of the month. So let's see what it actually looks like 😂. I finished 16 books and apparently it was RomCom/Contemporary fiction month, LOL! Usually I have more of a mixed bag of genres. Click on the cover of the book if you are interested in the review.

Top Ten Tuesday-10 physical books on my shelves I want to read soonish

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Unread Books on My Shelves I Want to Read Soon (Bonus points if you tell us how long it’s been sitting on your shelf waiting for you.) Well, I am going for extra, extra bonus points by telling you I currently have 215 physical fiction books sitting on my shelves waiting to be read. Obviously, this is not counting my nonfiction books, books I might want to read of my family members, or the books on my Kindle 😬. I still want to read them all, but I will start with the 10 I want to read sooner rather than later. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday- "A" books

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday is Movies/TV Shows That Would Have Made Amazing Books (Submitted by Sabrina @ Notes From a Paper Plane Nomad). Seriously at a loss, thought about it for 2 days, and I have nothing. We don't watch a lot of TV or movies. So, I am going to take a page out of Pam's book (Read!Create!Bake!) and do titles that start with a letter, I was going to go with C because I can see 3 books on my TBR cart at a quick glance that start with C, but better go with with A since it's my first time, LOL! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Ten books on my PHYSICAL shelves that I am might (should) going to read soonish that start with "A":

Stacking the Shelves #106, Sunday Post #103, Sunday Salon #97

Hey bookish friends! Another busy week here, with making up all the classes we
couldn't teach last weekend because of our snow storm. I am on day three of fighting a migraine and I have one more class to teach today, and then I can relax for the rest of the weekend. How are you doing?
