Top Ten Tuesday-September TBR hopefuls

Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books That Defied My Expectations. While I have started a list with this topic I have two books on it, and just can't think beyond that. So I am going to be totally lame and do a September TBR list. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Ten books I plan (hope) to read in September:

I have about a hundred more I want to read this month, but I will start with these ten 😂😂😂😂

What did you do this week? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.

  3. I was not a huge fan of Seconds to Live, though I thought it had potential, and I was in the minority when I rated it. Hopefully you'll enjoy it more than I did! I am adding He Should Have Told the Bees to my TBR; it sounds really good, while I also anticipate it being painful to read. Nice list!

    1. Thanks Kristi. I have had Seconds to Live on my shelf forever, so I know I need to try it. I have heard great things about her books, but I don't think I have read one yet.

  4. Seeing Julie's book on this list, whoa, that is a throwback for me! Also, I remember, at the time, liking Seconds to Live. :) Hope you enjoy all of your September hopefuls. And thanks so much for visiting my website.

  5. I couldn't figure out a list of books for this week's TTT topic. I like your list of September reads...Dead Wrong and Coming in Winter look especially good from their covers. :D

  6. Not lame at all! Nothing came to mind for me for this topic at all, so I did something else as well. DEAD WRONG looks cute. I'm going to have to take a closer look at that one. I hope you love all these!

    Happy TTT!

  8. So I am wondering. When you place ten books on a hopefuls list for a month, do the books scream at you all month to be read? I think I wouldn't be able to stand the constant chatter the way books remind me when I place them on a quarterly list. ha!

Sorry I didn't reply yesterday. my hubby and I took our grandsons to the zoo and when we got home I was exhausted. Thanks for visiting Head Full of Books

    1. Anne, they are already sitting on my TBR cart (and the library books on the floor beside it), so they are ALREADY screaming at me, LOL!
