Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is bookish wishes. While this is a great topic, I am not able to gift books this time, so I don't feel right putting my list out there. I am on vacation and meant to schedule a post but ran out of time so this one will be quick. Today I am doing library books that I have requested and my library has bought them! Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Library wishes granted:
Have you requested your library purchase any books? If so, what library wishes have been granted to you??
What did you do for this week? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.
I like your twist on this topic! How fun. The libraries in my county are privately funded with limited resources, so I have always felt reticent to request anything. Maybe someday this will change, because I know it's a great way to support authors.
ReplyDeleteHave fun on vacation!
Oops, that anonymous comment about privately funded libraries was from me. I forgot to sign in. 🙂
ReplyDeleteErin, you never know, they may be able to get some. My library welcomes requests and it broadens the libraries horizons :)
DeleteThis is such a great twist on the topic! I might have to borrow it for next time. :)

Thanks Lydia!
DeleteI request books for my library to purchase all the time, and they've been really great about it, even purchasing whole series. I love the library! And what a fun twist on this week's TTT. :D
ReplyDeleteLark, that is so awesome! I love libraries and really appreciate all they do for our communities!!
DeleteLove your twist on the topic - it's so great that your library granted your wishes :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lindsey!
DeleteI like your twist today! I read The Gold in These Hills and really liked it, so I hope your library gets it for you soon!
ReplyDeleteWendy, they have gotten all these books! I am blessed!
DeleteThat's fantastic. And it gives us all an idea...
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb.
DeleteI really like this pivot. I love it when libraries add to their shelves based on patron feedback. :D I definitely keep using my library because they're willing to do this. I hope you enjoy all of these books.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
Thanks Jenni, I am sure I will enjoy them when I get to them :)
DeleteI love your take on the topic this week! I didn't participate because I am not able to gift right now either, but I totally should have done this - I pretty much max out my number of requests every month with the library - we get five per library card per month and I use my daughter's also!
ReplyDeleteSarah, you can use the topic another time ;) I don't know if we have a max limit of requests, they have never said and I have never asked. I think 5 per month is great though.
DeleteHow fun! I love your twist on the topic! I really enjoyed Stone and Autumn by the Sea. :)
ReplyDeleteAshley, you are one of the people who made me want to read them :)
