Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday is Covers/Titles with Things Found in Nature (covers/titles with things like trees, flowers, animals, forests, bodies of water, etc. on/in them) (Submitted by Jessica @ a GREAT read) Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Ten Books I plan to read some time soonish (😉you know how that goes) that have things found in nature on the cover:
- The Blue Castle by LM Montgomery
- One for the Murphys by Lynda Mullaly Hunt
- Under A Turquoise Sky by Lisa Carter
- Mountain Refuge by Sarah Varland
- Serenity Hope by Michael Winstell
- All in Good Time by Carolyn Astfalk
- Crossroads by Patricia Bradley
- Butterfly Cottage by Carrie Fancett Pagels
- Deception by Patricia Bradley
- The Vanishing at Castle Moreau by Jaime Jo Wright
What did you do for today's topic? Have you read any of these? Which ones should I read sooner rather than later? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.
This week's topic reminds me of the power of a good setting. I've got a John Grisham book set on a tropical island that I'm hoping to get to soon!
ReplyDeleteEthan, yes, a good setting indeed! A tropical island sounds like the perfect setting for a Grisham book, LOL! I hope you enjoy it when you get to it!
DeleteThis is a great topic, and the covers of the books you chose are so inviting! Except perhaps for Deception...the house on that cover doesn't exactly look inviting lol. The copy of The Blue Castle is much more appealing than the one I read from my library.
ReplyDeleteJana, I got my copy of The Blue Castle from a used bookstore :) I hope we both love it!!
DeleteThe Blue Castle was wonderful. Hope you like it.
ReplyDeleteHere is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Lydia
Thanks Lydia! I really need to get to it sooner, rather than later!

ReplyDeleteThanks Sarita!
DeleteThe Vanishing of Castle Moreau looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Astilbe
Thanks Astilbe! If you have never read a Jaime Jo Wright, you are missing out! Her books are fabulous.
DeleteGorgeous covers -- sometimes it really does work to choose a book by the cover!
ReplyDeleteJoy, so true!!
DeleteI haven't read any of these yet, but I love the cover for All in Good Time. Hope you'll love all of these!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lindsey!
DeleteThe firefly cover is gorgeous! And the Castle Moreau too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Haze!
DeleteJaimie's cover art is ALWAYS so atmospheric, and if I remember right, her stories are too. I had a different edition of 'The Blue Castle' once upon a time but I think I have since sold it. That one fits so nicely with today's topic. :) And thanks so much for visiting my website today!
ReplyDeleteRissi, I agree, Jaime's books are SO atmostpheric!
DeleteI hope that you enjoy all of these when you read them.

Rabbit Ears Book Blog: WORLD’S WEIRDEST BOOK BLOG!
Thanks Ronyell!
DeleteI want to stay at Butterfly Cottage. That view is to die for! Wouldn't that porch be the perfect reading spot?
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Susan, YES!!! The breeze coming off the water would equal perfection!
DeleteI just finished Vanishing at Castle Moreau...SO amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteNicole, I am excited to get to it!
DeleteI like the variety of book covers you found. I didn't even think about looking at my TBR for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne. I do that often because I am less likely to share the same books over and over again!
DeleteI loved The Vanishing at Castle Moreau. I hope you do too! I want to read more of Patricia Bradley's older books. Her latest series is so good! :)
ReplyDeleteAshley, I know!! That is why I went back to her older series, LOL! I finished her newest two, and I was like, I had forgotten how GOOD her books are!
DeleteI remember reading The Blue Castle long ago at the bidding of one of my blog friends who said it was her favorite read.
ReplyDeleteDeb, I hope you enjoyed it and I hope I will :)
DeleteI loved Anne of Green Gables and the subsequent series, but never read anything else Montgomery wrote. Is that weird?
ReplyDeleteSarah, no, I haven't either, but plan to :)
DeleteI should at some point. Add them to the TBR I guess! lol
DeleteUnder a Turquoise Sky's cover features my state. If you've never been to the Arches National Park in Moab, Utah, I highly recommend it. It's breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteJenni, I have never been that far west. Hopefully some day.
