My Review:
Hidden in the Night is the third book in the Missing in Alaska series by Elizabeth Goddard. While threading them in order is most enjoyable, they can easily stand alone.
I enjoyed seeing previous characters from the first two books of the series. I also enjoyed visiting Alaska through this series. Goddard does a fabulous job of depicting Alaska, and it makes a wonderful backdrop to the story.
There was so much going on in the story. Ivy heads to Alaska to find a manuscript for her mother and reconnects with Nolan. Alaska is known as the state people go to disappear in, and Ivy has to be sure she does not disappear as she finds herself in one dangerous situation after another.
Nolan is supposed to be going on vacation, but how can he when danger has landed on his doorstep? As a law enforcement officer, he can't just walk away. Pairing up with Ivy will allow him to keep her safe, while also assisting with the search of the manuscript and several people who have gone missing.
Hidden in the Night will keep you guessing from the beginning until the end. There are several plot twists in this treasure hunting mystery.
Thank you to Revell for the opportunity to read this book. I was not required to provide a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
At the behest of her ailing mother, former FBI
special agent turned rare-book collector Ivy Elliott arrives in Alaska
to secure an unpublished Jack London manuscript kept secreted away for
decades. But when she arrives, she learns the manuscript is gone--taken
by the granddaughter of the woman who possessed it. Ivy sets off in
pursuit, not just to save the manuscript but to save the vulnerable
girl, who was previously trafficked and has no idea what she's getting
herself into.
Joining forces with Alaska State Trooper Nolan
Long, Ivy must battle a blizzard, sabotage, and the worst of an Alaskan
winter as the search goes on. But every answer they find only raises
more questions--and the danger to their lives and to the missing girl
may only be the tip of the iceberg.
Alaska is one of my favorite settings. Glad you enjoyed this book! This series is on my TBR list. :D
