Title: The Love Audit   Audiobook review

Series: Sweet Peach #1

Author: Annah Conwell

Narrators: Amanda Friday and Andy Harrington

Publisher: Independently Published

Genre: RomCom, Christian Fiction, Contemporary

Source: Hoopla

My Review:

The Love Audit is the first book I have read by Annah Conwell, but it won't be the last. I would already be "reading" the second book if it was on Hoopla, but sadly it is not!

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that The Love Audit was a Christian book. The faith content is light and not preachy, but I wasn't expecting it.

I absolutely adored this book. It has great humor, relatable characters, witty banter, opposites attract and so much more. I loved both main characters, Charlotte and Callum, and their relationships with friends and family. The series will focus on Charlotte and her roommates and I am here for it! Now to find time to binge the rest of the series, in between the ARCs I have committed to, sigh.

This one brought out all the feels, including a few tears (happy, sweet tears). Neither Charlotte nor Callum are perfect and they have things they are working through as the book progresses, but seriously, I devoured this one.

★★★★★/5

Synopsis (Goodreads):

It’s just my luck that my grumpy office rival looks like he stepped right out of my dreams.

I had a plan. Get this project to the finish line, and defeat Callum Sterling in the process. There’s just one problem… he’s ridiculously hot in person. A curly-haired, brown-eyed dreamboat.

I’ve been verbally sparring with Callum, resident stoic software developer, over our quarterly conference calls for the past year. Now, with the launch of a huge project on the horizon, we’re forced to see each other in person weekly. Can you say disaster?

His constant teasing and gruff rebellion should get on my nerves.

But…

Our battles in the conference room leave me feeling more exhilarated than frustrated. And when we spend time together outside of work, chemistry begins to build in a way that is undeniable.

Unfortunately, he’s got a brick wall up around his heart that makes me wonder if we’ll ever be more than enemies.

The Love Audit is a workplace enemies to lovers romcom that will make you laugh-out-loud one minute and swoon the next. It has all the sizzling chemistry you love, without any explicit scenes. Check out this first book of the Sweet Peach Series, a four-book sweet romcom collection!

    1. Ethan, I love Christian fiction, but I don't love when they are too preachy, so I always try to make others aware of that. So many people think ALL Christian fiction is preachy, which is not the case. It was a great book, so funny.
