Stacking the Shelves #160, Sunday Post #157, Sunday Salon #151

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? It was another WEEK around here. Time change made the week feel longer, we had multiple extra appointments, quite a few of our classes got canceled for sickness, we found out my mom's cancer is back, she will go on Monday to see what they are going to do about it, and I am beyond exhausted. My son had an appointment with the infectious disease doctor on Monday, and thankfully they did not find anything! I thought it would be a full weekend at home, but I forgot we are going to a concert tomorrow (Sunday) evening that is 2ish hours away (it snuck up on me!), and we have church tonight. I am excited about the concert, I feel like we haven't done anything fun recently, and with so much heavy right now, it will be a nice reprieve.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I finished 4 books again this week, two that I had been reading for a while (nonfiction). Two of the book I finished were mediocre and I couldn't bring myself to do a full review for them, so they are not on the blog. I still need to write my review for Pixels and Paint by Kristi Ann Hunter, it was super fun and I hope to have it up tomorrow.

My mom and in the background my nephew Aaron.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: The Serendipity by Emma St. Clair

Book Review: Abridged Classics by John Atkinson

Top Ten Tuesday-Marriage of Convenience

Book Review: Delighting in Jesus by Asheritah Ciuciu

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  3. Glad that the infectious disease doctor didn't find anything.
My mom had cancer and beat it, I'm praying your mom beats it too.
I have a few different kinds of Bibles and a Bible Trivia app on my phone which I love.
