Stacking the Shelves #215 Sunday Post #212 Sunday Salon #206

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? I am doing okay. I had vertigo again last weekend, and headaches all week. This landed me back in PT on Tuesday, only to find I had another ear crystal, this time on the left side, causing the vertigo. It made for a longer week, dealing with that, plus the headaches and nausea that go with it, but I survived and it is the weekend! And, I am feeling better, praise God! We don't really have any plans, other than church. If the weather cooperates we will be out walking/hiking, but beyond that, it's mostly relaxing.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your  shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I finished three books this week. My favorite from this week is Brighter Than Before by Courtney Walsh, and that review will be up tomorrow. I signed up to participate in Jana's Christmas in July event and I am super excited. July is my birthday month and with how hard this year has been, I thought it would be fun to send and receive a few gifts (not that I need anything, LOL). If this sounds like something that interests you, you only have a few more days to jump in.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: Final Approach by Lynette Eason

TTT: Summer of Possibilities 2026 (spoiler-there is a lot of possibility, LOL)

Book Review: Between the Sound and Sea by Amanda Cox

Book Review: Spies, Lies, & Alibis by Natalie Walters

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  2. Glad that you are on the mend. That all sounds awful.

Enjoy your books. My son and partner are both July babies (plus my partner's Granddad) so it's a busy month for us!

    Have a great weekend!

  6. I had never heard of crystals in the ear and all the awful problems they cause until you told us about your troubles, Cindy. I'm glad you are feeling better.

    1. Shelleyrae, LOL, we try to get out as often as we can when the weather cooperates. We hiked a little over 4 miles this morning.

  10. I'm glad you're feeling better now! I got all my holds from the library at once yesterday (of course lol)–so now I'm reading three and have another three on my shelf that I need to get to! I'm very excited to have new reading material, though.

    1. Thanks Jodie, it's rough when it flares up. It makes me appreciate the good days so much more, and not take them for granted.

  15. The ear crystal/vertigo thing sounds horrendous! I'd never heard of it before you previously mentioned it, so I'm very glad that you are now feeling better. I hope you managed to get out for a hike and that this week is being good to you:)).

  16. I'm glad you're feeling better! Vertigo sounds miserable. Even just brief periods of dizziness for no apparent reason make me unhappy. I can't imagine enduring that for any length of time. Happy birthday month! My birthday and my husband's are both in July as well.
