Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is TTT Rewind (Pick a previous topic that you missed or would like to re-do/update.). I went back to 2019 (before I was blogging) and decided to do the audio freebie where Jana did 5 audio books she loved and 5 she was excited to listen to. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Have you read or listened to any of these? What do you think? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.
I haven't read or listened to any of these...yet. There are several favorite authors on your list, and all of these books look like fun. Great choice for this week's TTT rewind. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark!
DeleteI rarely if ever listen to audio books, but I have listened to a couple. Hope you enjoy Becky's! That's one I read when it first released all those years ago. :)
ReplyDeleteRissi, I have Becky's checked out from the library and kind of want to own it, LOL...but I will probably read it instead of listen to it.
DeleteI love a good audiobook and I haven't listened to any of these, so I will have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteDeanna, I love audio books as well! I hope you find one to enjoy!
DeleteI was disappointed with the audio version of The Lady and the Highwayman. I am an avid audiobook listener and I thought Justine Eyre did a poor job with her male voices. I've since tried other books she has narrated and not been impressed. Lots of people love her performances, though, so don't take my word for it! (The book itself was a cute one.)
ReplyDeleteGypsi, I will keep that in mind. The narrator will make or break a book!
DeleteI have been loving audiobooks lately. A Match in the Making sure looks good.
ReplyDeleteWendy, I LOVE listening to Jen Turano's books, the humor is amazing!
DeleteAudiobooks are such a great way to pass the time!
ReplyDeleteMy post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-bookish-things-ive-quit-doing/
Lydia, I totally agree!
DeleteI haven't read any of these and don't think I've even listened to any of the narrators. The Lady and the Highwayman catches my eye every time I see it though. I hope you like the last five when/if you listen to them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen!
DeleteI have not read or listened to any of these, but I love audiobooks, so they might just make it to my want to read list.
ReplyDeleteCarla, I love audiobooks, they do keep me motivated to do stuff :)
DeleteI have a really hard time with audiobooks, my mind just wanders too much. I wish I could though, I feel like I would be able to read a lot more books if I could. My brain just doesn't work lol.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT where I talk about popular books I haven't read yet.
Erica, I typically need audiobooks with some kind of humor to keep me engaged. I usually listen to them when I am driving, walking, or doing chores, things that don't require a lot of "other" thinking.
DeleteThese are new to me. I don't listen to audio books; I don't really have the opportunity. When I am reading a book to review, I really have to be paying attention and it would take forever for me to finish an audio one.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I can understand that. I have only been listening to audiobooks for about a year...I started listening to them when I would walk, and I LOVE to still do that.
DeleteI should read more audiobooks. I love that first cover with the opera house in the background lol
ReplyDeleteGreg, it was so good! The narrator will make or break a book.
DeleteI've not read or listened to these but these are my kind of books! Oh, I'd check them out. Thanks for this list, Cindy.
ReplyDeleteLux, I hope you find some to enjoy :)
DeleteI haven't listened to any of these. I tend to listen to nonfiction when I'm driving. I find it's harder to follow a fiction story for me! lol
ReplyDeleteDeb, I can get that. I have not listened to much nonfiction.
DeleteGreat topic! Audio books are so dependent on the narrator for me. But I love listening to one during a road trip.
ReplyDeleteDanielle, exactly. The narrator can make or break the book.
DeleteThanks for the recommendations! I'm always looking for good audiobooks to listen to at work.
ReplyDeleteAj, your welcome! I hope you find something in this that you like!
DeleteI haven't listened to many audiobooks, but I've been wanting to branch out into it lately. Great list! :)
ReplyDeleteAshley, there will be no going back, LOL!! I LOVE them!!
DeleteI love audios! Good topic for this week. I accidentally did next week's topic!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa! Now you have more time to think about this topic for next week, LOL!
DeleteI'm not familiar with any of these, but one series I enjoyed listening to was the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones. The main character has so much sass, and the narrator delivers it. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier this week.
ReplyDeletePam @ Read! Bake! Create!
Pam, I am not familiar with that author, will have to look it up. Thanks for the recommendation!
DeleteI'm not a big audiobook fan. My mind tends to wander. 😃 But I'll keep trying! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteDedra, I understand...if a book doesn't quite capture my attention mine does too! Have a great weekend!
DeleteI haven't read or listened to any of these, but that cover for A Match in the Making is amazing. Have a wonderful weekend. - Katie
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie!
DeleteI also loved the Kara Isaac and A Change of Fortune!
ReplyDeleteSarita, we do have a lot of similar tastes :) I love visiting your blog and seeing what you are reading!
