Stacking the Shelves #146, Sunday Post #143, Sunday Salon #137

Hey bookish friends! These past couple of weeks have been busy. Some of last week's stress carried into this week. I was supposed to be off all week, but ended up working a few days at the beginning of the week. We were home for Thanksgiving and got most of our Christmas decorations up. Yesterday, I made a day to trip to Indianapolis, my kids were supposed to go with me, but when my daughter bailed, my son did as well. After being in the car for 10 hours yesterday, I plan to relax, blog, and read today, possibly with a nap thrown in. I am wiped out. Tomorrow will be church and a whole lot of relaxing. Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Library Treasures:

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is our book club pick for December.

I was given an ebook code for A Father for Her boys, but lost it, so got it from the library to honor my word to read it and review it for Danielle Grandinetti.
Kindle Freebies:

The Rival Kiss by Jessica Kate was free on Thursday, I am not sure if it still is.

Other updates:

I finished six books this week (10 hours in a car lets you finish and start another audiobook). I have one more review to write, it should be up tomorrow (Sunday). I am thankful for less books coming in this, I have a few more ARCs to finish, and want to mood read the rest of the year. I have plenty of books to choose from 😀.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: The Burning of Rosemont Abbey by Naomi Stephens

Finding Jesus + Giveaway (product review)

Book Review: Even if We Cry by Terrie Todd

Top Ten Tuesday-Thanksgiving Books and Expressions of Gratitude

Book Review: Rediscovering Christmas + Giveaway

Book Review: Deadly Revenge by Patricia Bradley

Book Review: Thanksgiving Protector by Sharon Dunn

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

    1. Deb, I get it. Traveling wears me out as well! Thankfully, it *should* be a few weeks before I do any more majoring traveling.

  5. I had also planned to be off all week but wound up working Monday through Wednesday. I really enjoy all the Love Inspired books. I haven’t requested ARCs in a while because my TBR is starting to get out of hand. Rediscovering Christmas was a really good read.

  10. Sounds like a crazy week. Real estate is a lot like that. I plan to take time off, but end up working anyway. At least I took today off to decorate the house some.

Great books this week. Hope you had a relaxing day.

  12. 10 hours in a car doesn’t sound like a lot of fun. I’m glad you had the audiobooks to keep you company.
