My Review:

I wish Finding Jesus existed when my children were little. We love to celebrate the Christmas season with an Advent calendar, picture books, and a Jesse tree where we had ornaments that represented each scripture that was in the Jesse Tree book. For a few years we even did Elf on the Shelf.  I would have much rather my children found Jesus than Elf on the Shelf 😂!

I love that Jesus is 12" and soft. I love the creativity of hiding a puzzle piece in his back pocket, so that when you find Jesus each day, the puzzle piece coincides with the Scripture verse. It is fun to see the puzzle come together each of the 24 days leading up to Christmas, with the final reveal being Christmas day. There is also an envelope that you open on Christmas day that says "The Greatest Gift." As a Christ follower, I know there is not a greater gift we can give our children than teaching them about Jesus. I love that this is a practical way we can do that, while adding a little fun to the season. I don't know a child who doesn't like hiding and finding toys!

There are several other things I appreciate about this product. The puzzle pieces are perfect for little hands. They are durable and will hold up to years of wear and tear. I love the way the box is designed to hold the puzzle in place, so that you can see both sides of the puzzle. While I can see this being designed for younger children, I believe it is something the whole family can enjoy. It's the perfect time to let our inner child out and enjoy the beauty of the season, while learning more about it through the Scriptures.
