Stacking the Shelves #209 Sunday Post #206 Sunday Salon #200

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? I didn't mean to completely disappear, but I did warn you it could happen. I am not sure I am completely back, either. I was called to Indiana on March 31, my mom had started a drastic decline. I helped care for her until Saturday, April 4, when she passed away (she literally just drifted into sleep and stopped breathing, so very peaceful). We immediately started cleaning out her apartment on Sunday, Monday was funeral planning, and continuing to clean her stuff out, Wednesday was the funeral and I came home on Thursday. I have not had time to process anything. This weekend I am giving myself space to do whatever I feel like I need to do.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your  shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I finished one book over the past 2 weeks. It's funny, before I went to Indiana my sister said my Mom was sleeping all day. I packed several books, and then downloaded several more to my Kindle, in anticipation of all the reading I was going to get done. She rallied once I got there (even more so the second day when my younger sister arrived), and there was no reading and no rest. But, I was prepared, LOL! My numbers next week will be inflated since I am almost done with an audiobook and an ebook (started while she was sleeping, didn't need a light to see).

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!
