Stacking the Shelves #211 Sunday Post #208 Sunday Salon #202

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? This week was hard! I am on day 13 of a vertigo flare-up. I tried to get into my doctor's office for it this week and I was told to go to the emergency room. I was so frustrated (and yes I cried)! Thankfully my sister is a PA and asked if we had a Vestibular clinic here. I had no idea what that was but they specialize in vertigo and balance issues. I was able to get them on the phone and they said I had to get a hearing test and then they could get me in. I got a hearing test that same day (Tuesday) and saw the specialist on Friday. Basically it can be several things, the most likely culprit is a crystal (stone) in the ear that is in the wrong place, and in my case in the back of the ear canal, so I have to see a physical therapist for some exercises to see if that is indeed the case. If not, the next step will be a neurologist. I go for PT on Thursday and I am hoping that will be able to figure out the problem. I am thankful that I have been in functioning vertigo and not debilitating vertigo most of the week.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your  shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I finished four books this week and DNF'd two. I am excited about my library treasures this week and my book mail, and not just because I haven't had any books out from the library in over a month (reading my own books)! I read my first Megan Walker book last week and I couldn't wait to read more, and now I can. I am trying not to start any new series (impossible), but her books are all stand alone, so I can read them in-between other books. Some Bright Someday is the 2nd of a series. I listened to the first one on audio last month and this one and the third one are sadly not available as audio, so I had to wait for this one to come in. My library doesn't have the third book, but I can get it on Kindle unlimited. So last week I mentioned an Instagram Post  about a lady who feeds her family on $300 a month (they are a family of 4, but her kiddos are still young)! So that was my inspiration for these cookbooks.
