 ****GIVEAWAY CLOSED****

And....the winner is......

RobbyeFaye-

Congratulations RobbyeFaye 🎉🎉🎉🎉🥳-Send me your physical mailing address AND the name of the book you want me to send you and I will get it out to you!

Thank you all for your support.

Hey Friends! I am so excited that you are here!!! Today I am hosting my FIRST giveaway on this blog. The giveaway is not affiliated with anyone or anything, it is completely hosted by ME 😀 Some of you do not know me very well at all, but one of my love languages is GIVING gifts. I love blessing others and I love helping others, (when I can).

So, what do you have to do to be entered in the giveaway?

Well, I am so glad that you asked!! All you have to do is go right over there 👉 and click the follow button! So easy!! Those who are already following are automatically entered.

But, I hate getting a bunch of emails in my inbox!

Me too! When you subscribe there will not be ANY emails sent to you. You can simply come back and catch up on your Google feed or whatever account you use to follow me.

What do I get if I win?

Again, I am so glad you asked! The winner has their choice of ONE of the books listed below. I will ship it directly to your house from Amazon or CBD (haven't decided yet). Unfortunately, this giveaway is only open to US residents, as I have no idea how much shipping would be international.

These books are some of my top favorites and I have either learned something from them, they have touched me deeply, or I remembered them long after I closed the book. You cannot lose with any of these books, they are incredibly well-written.

Facing the Dawn

Synopsis:

While her humanitarian husband Liam has been digging wells in Africa, Mara Jacobs has been struggling. She knows she's supposed to feel a warm glow that her husband is nine time zones away, caring for widows and orphans. But the reality is that she is exhausted, working a demanding yet unrewarding job, trying to manage their three detention-prone kids, failing at her to-repair list, and fading like a garment left too long in the sun.

Then Liam's three-year absence turns into something more, changing everything and plunging her into a sunless grief. As Mara struggles to find her footing, she discovers that even when hope is tenuous, faith is fragile, and the future is unknown, we can be sure we are not forgotten . . . or unloved.

Synopsis:

Harper Albright has pinned all her hopes on a future in fashion design. But when it comes crashing down around her, she returns home to Fairhope, Alabama, and to Millie, the woman who first taught her to sew. As she rethinks her own future, secrets long hidden about Millie's past are brought to light.

In 1946, Millie Middleton boarded a train and left Charleston to keep half of her heritage hidden. She carried with her two heirloom buttons and the dream of owning a dress store. She never expected to meet a charming train jumper who changed her life forever . . . and led her yet again to a heartbreaking choice about which heritage would define her future.

Now, together, Harper and Millie return to Charleston and the man who may hold the answers they seek . . . and a chance at the dress shop they've both dreamed of. But it's not until all appears lost that they see the unexpected ways to mend what frayed between the seams. Full review here.

Synopsis:

Headstrong Johanna Berglund, a linguistics student at the University of Minnesota, has very definite plans for her future . . . plans that do not include returning to her hometown and the secrets and heartaches she left behind there. But the US Army wants her to work as a translator at a nearby camp for German POWs.

Johanna arrives to find the once-sleepy town exploding with hostility. Most patriotic citizens want nothing to do with German soldiers laboring in their fields, and they're not afraid to criticize those who work at the camp as well. When Johanna describes the trouble to her friend Peter Ito, a language instructor at a school for military intelligence officers, he encourages her to give the town that rejected her a second chance.

As Johanna interacts with the men of the camp and censors their letters home, she begins to see the prisoners in a more sympathetic light. But advocating for better treatment makes her enemies in the community, especially when charismatic German spokesman Stefan Werner begins to show interest in Johanna and her work. The longer Johanna wages her home-front battle, the more the lines between compassion and treason become blurred--and it's no longer clear whom she can trust. My full review is here.

But one look at the eerie, abandoned house immediately leaves her questioning her rash decision. And when the house's dark history comes back with a vengeance, Kaine is forced to face the terrifying realization she has nowhere left to hide.

A century earlier, the house on Foster Hill holds nothing but painful memories for Ivy Thorpe. When an unidentified woman is found dead on the property, Ivy is compelled to discover her identity. Ivy's search leads her into dangerous waters and, even as she works together with a man from her past, can she unravel the mystery before any other lives—including her own—are lost? Sabina--tall, slender, and exotic--left her husband, young adult daughters, and a thriving counseling practice to spend a year in Northern California where she says she's come to heal. But it seems to Ellyn that Sabina's doing more hiding than healing. Why?

Twila has come out of hiding and is working to gain back the pounds she lost when her only goal was to disappear. When her eating disorder is triggered again, she's tempted to go back into hiding.
