Top Ten Tuesday-Summer Goals updated

An Unlikely Pair (Dream's Edge, #1)
*****

Happy Tuesday, friends! Today I am excited to be doing another link-up with top ten Tuesday. Today the topic is fictional crushes. Since that is not my jam I am going to do an update of my summer reads. While summer is not *technically* over, for me it is. My daughter went back to school over the weekend and we started school here yesterday (I homeschool), so, our summer is over 😭 I have listed all the books I had hoped to read this summer and have updated them with my rating of the ones I finished. For more fun with fictional crushes or other people's take on today's topic check out That Artsy Reader Girl.

How did you do with your summer reading goals? Did you read the ones you needed/wanted to read? Or, if you did fictional crushes let me know your favorite crush and what book they are from 😀

  2. The summer went by so quickly! You read quite a few books and it seems like you enjoyed them. An Amish Schoolroom seems like a sweet story!

Hope you'll visit my TTT list.

    1. It really went too fast! I did enjoy most of the books I read this summer, I had picked some good ones. An Amish Schoolroom was awesome! Three novellas, so very quick reads! Thanks for stopping by :)

  3. It's winter for me (although today is actually the first official day of spring) and I did a lot of reading but I never quite manage to achieve all my reading goals! I always get distracted.

    1. Bree-I can totally understand that. I did not think I would get through as many as I did, but we got rid of our biggest distraction and time sucker (our dog), so I have more time in general.

  4. It's funny how summer makes it harder to read, because there's so much you want to get out and do. I hope you enjoyed those you read, and will find time to read those you haven't had the chance to read yet.

When you get the chance, I hope you can stop by my post and check it out: https://readbakecreate.com/characters-i-would-love-to-have-a-drink-with/

  6. I liked ALONG A STORIED TRAIL, although I wouldn't say I loved it. I'd probably read more by Gabhart, though, since it was a nice, clean, uplifting story and I need more of those in my life.

    1. Susan, I didn't love it either, I thought it was okay and worth reading. I have read similar books that I found much more engaging. Thanks for stopping by!

    1. I almost always have more time in the summer because the rest of the year I am Homeschooling. I LOVE to read and could literally do it all day every day without getting bored. Unfortunately, I have to do real life too ;)

  8. Wow, I'm actually impressed at how many books you got read from your list. I read a lot during the summer but always seem to veer away from the books I originally planned to read, lol.

    1. Suzanne, I never used to plan out my reading, just reading whatever, but most of these I had obligated myself to do for reviews :)

  9. YAY for the reading you enjoyed and did accomplish! Like all of 2021, my reading has been pathetic, so I cannot say I read anywhere CLOSE to your number of read books. Good for you. :) Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland on this week! Appreciate it.

    1. Rissi, we all have our good seasons for reading, and I happen to be in one, but had to let go of a MAJOR obstacle to get there. Thanks for stopping by!
