My Review:

I could not be more upset that this series has ended! I feel like I just lost my best friends and don't know where to go from here. I have loved all the books in the series and would be hard-pressed to say which one I loved best, but it might just be this one. I am amazed that the author was able to make each book so strong and continue to weave the characters' lives together, seamlessly, throughout the entire series.

I loved Sam and Rhys story. I have waited for Sam's story since I started reading the series. I always wondered if her Dr. Love column comes to light and what would happen...which we see in this story. This is a hate to love troupe, starts with hate, moves to a cautious friendship, which then develops into a beautiful romance. All I want is more!!!

Rhys is the spark to Sam's fire. At first, that is not a good thing, but regardless, sparks fly throughout the story. Their first kiss is epic and I love the way Sam's friends accept him as one of them. While it might seem like all if fluffy and light, there is much character growth in both characters. There are some deep, heartfelt moments and lots of laugh-out-loud moments, and even a few shocking, but again, I loved it all.

If you enjoy love cliches in any form, romance stories with some heat but still clean, I HIGHLY recommend reading this entire series, starting from the beginning. I LOVED listening to them on audio and I can't say if I would have loved them as much if I had read them in paperback, but I would like to think that I would. I really appreciate all that went into the stories and the dialogue is original, which makes the stories. You can see/feel each character's personality jumping from the pages. Like I said at the beginning of the review, I feel like I am losing some of my friends. I could continue to gush but I will just say, go read the books, then come back and tell me what you thought!!

I was provided an audiobook code through book funnel from the author, with no obligation to offer a review.  All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

Synopsis (from Goodreads):

People who say keep your enemies closer never took a road trip with a guy who hated their guts.

A month ago, my identity as Dr. Love was a secret. A month ago, I thought I was getting engaged.

A month ago, I wasn’t stuck with the guy who hates me most in the world.;

Now… if I don’t make nice with my #1 hater, I might lose my book deal.

Without that, I’m not sure what I have left.

But when I’m forced on a publicity tour with everyone’s favorite guy, the guy who says I ruined his relationship, I didn’t know how low I could go.;

At every stop, I get roasted and he gets more revered.

You would think after a while, I would hate him too.

And you would be very, very wrong...

  1. Yes, it is a bitter sweet thing when beloved series come to end. I have to be in the right mood for a romance book, so next time I'm in the mood, I might pick this up.
