Hey bookish friends! I hope your weekend is going well. I had another surprising week of books coming in, so I thought I would share again this weekend 😀
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks! In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

(I am cutting WAY back on ARC this year, but couldn't resist this one since I am opening a Free Little Library at the end of this month)
And I added 25 books to my Goodreads shelf this week! It's too many to post here 😉
Looks like you have some great books waiting for you! The Littlest Library looks adorable. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Gretchen, thanks, I am looking forward to reading all of these :) I love the look of The Littlest Library and can't wait to dive in. Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI loved Before We Were Yours and Where the Crawdads Sing! What a great haul! And I hope we both enjoy The Littlest Library, that cover is too cute.
ReplyDeleteWendy, I have had Before We Were Yours on my TBR list forever so I was excited to receive it. I am not sure what to think of Where the Crawdad's Sing,I had heard of it but never had a desire to read it. Because it is the person who sent its favorite book, I will give it a try and hopefully enjoy it. I think The Littlest Library will be interesting! Have a great weekend!
DeleteI love the look of the Alexander book!
ReplyDeleteGreg, right? It makes you want to go out and pick it right up! Have a great weekend!
DeleteHi Cindy! I am also not going to take ARC's before the current pile isn't at least cut by half. I did well this week, so lets hold thumps.
ReplyDeleteI so want to open a little free library here with us, but everything, and I mean EVERYTHING gets stolen here in SA if it's not behind lock and key. So sad. Still trying to figure out how I can do this!
Have a good week and happy reading!

Yay for both of us for holding strong on the ARC's. I turned down 3 just today! I plan to stamp my books to discourage stealing but not sure yet if that will work or not. It would be great if you were able to open one, but I get your concerns. Have a great week!
DeleteI loved Before We Were Yours!
ReplyDeleteI have read and enjoyed other stuff by her so I am looking forward to it :)
DeleteThe Littlest Library looks cute. I'm trying to cut back on ARCs too. There are just too many to accept.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week!
Yvonne, I agree and they can take over everything!!
DeleteThe Littlest Library is one I want to read. Hope you enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteLisa Loves Literature
Thanks Lisa!
DeleteI don't think I could resist The Littlest Library either. It sounds like a fun read. You got some great books through the book exchange! I've tried participating in those a couple of times and received no books and so I avoid them now. I am glad you fared better! I hope you have a great week and enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteYay, I didn't know how the book exchange would turn out. One of my friends posted about it on her page and someone immediately posted under it that it was scam so no one took her up on it. It made me sad. I figured even if it was just one for one it would be a win. Have a great week!
DeleteYour TBR stack looks good. I hope you are able to make it through most of them!
ReplyDeleteJennifer, thanks, me too :)
DeleteI'm trying to cut back on requests/downloads too and catch up with what I already have. Good luck starting your own Little Library!
ReplyDeleteRachel, good luck on cutting back on requests, it is so hard! Thanks, I am looking forward to it opening!
DeleteI love your ambitious January pile, good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma!
DeleteI would love to have a Little Free Library. How exciting!
ReplyDeleteI love Pride & Prejudice! Where the Crawdads Sing was really good but the geographical errors drove me up the wall. I wish someone had caught them before publication.
Enjoy your week!
Thanks Jen, I am excited about the Little Free Library. Maybe I won't notice the geographical errors with Where the Crawdads Sing, LOL. Have a great week!
DeleteI am crazy about my Little Free Library. I've had one for going on ten years. It's a delight.
ReplyDeleteYour book exchange idea sounds great. I will look for more details.
Have a lovely week, Cindy!
Deb, you are the one who inspired me with the Little Free Library and I can't wait until it opens. The artisan said the week of January 24th and I am keeping my fingers crossed that there are no delays! The Book Exchange was going around on Facebook if you are on there, you could participate in mine, if you wanted, I am Cindy Davis on there as well.
DeleteI keep seeing Where the Crawdads Sing come up and there are so many mixed reviews. Enjoy your books!!
ReplyDeleteStephanie, thanks! Have a great week!
DeleteEvery year is the year I'll cut back on arcs! Oh that red phone box cover just makes me want to read the book.
ReplyDeleteI lost count of how many ARC's I read last year, easily over a hundred and I got behind and that kept me stressed. I need to cut back for my own sanity! For this year so far counting carry-overs I had 20 and have completed 4. Yes, the red phone box was an immediate impulse ask, LOL!
DeleteHow exciting that you received so many books. I did some book exchanges, but never received something myself.
ReplyDeleteYour new books look great.
Have a great week and happy reading.
Maureen, I am so sorry to hear that! It's hard to do especially if you don't have a lot of bookish friends, or your bookish friends don't have bookish friends. Have a great week!
DeleteYou've got some good looking books to read. Where the Crawdads Sing is one of my favorite books. I hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteJan, thanks, I am looking forward to reading them! I hope I enjoy it as well :) Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!
DeleteWhat fun to be opening your own Little Free Library! I would love to do that, but I don't think I can get my homeowner's association to agree to it. And The Littlest Library looks delightful; I downloaded it, too.
ReplyDeleteLark, I am excited and impatiently waiting for it to be built so I can get going on it :) I am so excited. Our home owner's association doesn't exist so I didn't need approval. Yours might surprise you, it never hurts to ask. I hope we both enjoy The Littlest Library. Have a great week.
DeleteThat's a lovely copy of Pride & Prejudice - I also got beautiful new copy of it recently 😍
ReplyDeleteJessica, the only thing I don't like about the copy of Pride and Prejudice is the font is sooooooo small! The cover is beautiful though. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteLooks like you have some great new treasures to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSarah, for sure!!
