Stacking the Shelves #6/Sunday Post #3

Hey bookish friends! I hope your weekend is going well. We are in for some wintry weather tomorrow into Monday and I am looking forward to staying home reading, blogging, and playing some games with my family. I had another surprising week of books coming in, so I thought I would share again this weekend 😀

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks! In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

NetGalley:

No new requests/I have one pending request.

For Review:

I was supposed to do a blog tour with Read with Audra in December. Due to Covid and the delays my review book arrived this week:

The funny thing is my library had gotten it before I had so I had checked it out last week. I had not started it yet so now I can read my copy and do my review 😀

Book Mail:

I recently did a post on Facebook looking for people to participate in a book exhange, you send one book and could get up to 36 back, I received 5 last week and 4 more this week, I am thrilled!!!

I think it is fascinating that the people sending me books do not know me, yet are sending books I would normally read! The Book Thief has been on my TBR list for a while and I had just checked it out of the library that DAY it arrived 😀 I am determined to read it this year! The other three are new to me, but I do read Christian Nonfiction and am looking forward to Reclaiming Eve. Keeping the Moon is a YA book and I needed one for a challenge 😊 Something Missing is a mystery and it sounds interesting. The fun thing about the book exchange is the person is supposed to send you their favorite book, so I look forward to reading these and trying to figure out why they are someone's favorites!

I added 17 books to my Goodreads shelf this week! It's too many to post here 😉

I finished 6 books this week and have started 5 more (1 audio, 2 non-fiction and 2 fiction). I have posted or scheduled all of the reviews.

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead. Join in weekly, bi-weekly or for a monthly wrap up.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icon below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  9. One of my friends just posted the book exchange thing too. I was tempted but I do NOT need to try to fit more books into our RV or our storage unit! The Book Thief is my favorite book ever so I hope you like it.

    Stay warm!

    1. Andie, that is my plan as well. I am doing an Author Alphabet challenge and the author is my Z letter...kind of forces me to read it ;)

  12. Lots of people enjoy The Book Thief. I think it would be too emotional for me, so I try to stay away
