Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings,
to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet
to read. Typically they are books that have not been released yet. This week I am sharing Mulberry Hollow by Denise Hunter. This is the second book in the Riverbend series and it's anticipated release date is 4.19.22. I have been anticipating this one since I finished the first book!
About the book (from Goodreads):
Contractor Wes Mathews
is nearly finished hiking the Appalachian Trail in honor of his recently
deceased best friend when he falls terribly ill. He stumbles into the
nearest town and soon finds himself indebted to the beautiful young
doctor who owns the clinic. In lieu of payment, he proposes a trade that
will keep him in town—and away from obligations to his best friend’s
sister—for several weeks.
But as Avery and Wes spend time together, their friendship begins moving into unexpected territory. Soon they both begin to question their plans for the future. But will Wes be able to let go of the debt he owes his best friend? And will Avery find the courage to risk everything for love?

DeleteWhat a peaceful cover! I am calmed just by looking at it. Tomorrow is our last day before Spring Break so the kids are a little...amped. I wouldn't go so far as to say they're insane, but they're kind of insane.
ReplyDeleteLOL, Sarah, I remember those days well! Any break makes them crazy!! Enjoy your spring break!
DeleteI have high expectations for it :)
