My review:

While Her Cowboy Wedding Date is the third in the series, it reads as a stand-alone. I did not read the first two books and did not feel lost.

Tess is a strong character. She takes care of everyone, often to the detriment of herself. Even though Tess is working hard to try and make her dreams come true, she drops everything the minute she thinks her family needs her. Her sacrifice is honorable, but when will she take care of herself? And, who is looking out for Tess?

Carter has his own dreams. His plan is to take care of his family and launch his business. He has no time for anything or anyone else. So when he is wrangled into helping Tess plan her cousin's wedding, he approaches it the same way he approaches everything else, in a no-nonsense manner. The bride and groom don't need all the trappings; they just need a place to get married. Sparks fly as his ideas collide with Tess's. Whose ideas will win? Will Abby get her dream wedding?

This story has a little bit of everything: family feuding, buried treasure, strong family ties, a cowboy, chocolate, interrupted wedding plans, and so much more. It is a quick, sweet romance.
