Stacking the Shelves #142, Sunday Post #139, Sunday Salon #133

Hey bookish friends! I remember the days when I used to get this post typed up before Saturday, LOL! It is the middle of the day on Saturday and I am just now getting an opportunity to sit down and type this up. It was a long week with some hard things. However, it is the weekend and I am so thankful. My husband and I decided to go on a hike this morning and it was great just getting away from it all for a little bit. Later this afternoon we will celebrate my daughter's birthday (it was yesterday). Tomorrow will be church and a whole lot of relaxing. Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I am happy with another short book stack this week. I finished four books this week. One of my reviews will post tomorrow. The books from the library have been on hold for 6 weeks and while I am happy they finally came in, I don't have time to read them yet. I hope to find time before they are due back, but I have several review books to read first. Here are a few pictures from my hike this morning:

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: Just His Secretary by Donna Jeffries

Book Review: The Color of Home by Kit Tosello

Book Review: ADHD is Awesome by Penn and Kim Holderness

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  3. I'm going to see if I can get our library to bring in The Color of Home. When I do suggest books, they very often order them. Have a great weekend!

  5. We are also doing birthday celebrations this weekend. It's my granddaughters 16th birthday.

The library books always come in at the most inopportune time. It would great if we could put a date on when we want them.

    1. Carla, enjoy your granddaughter's birthday celebration! I agree, it would have been nice to have them week's ago, but hopefully I will be able to get to them in a few weeks.

  8. This is a perfect time of the year for a hike. And I hope you have a fantastic celebration for your daughter's birthday.

Why do all the library books come in just when we already have stacks of books to read?!
