Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:
I am happy with another short book stack this week. I finished four books this week. One of my reviews will post tomorrow. The books from the library have been on hold for 6 weeks and while I am happy they finally came in, I don't have time to read them yet. I hope to find time before they are due back, but I have several review books to read first. Here are a few pictures from my hike this morning:
What you might have missed on the blog this week:
Book Review: Just His Secretary by Donna Jeffries
Book Review: The Color of Home by Kit Tosello
Book Review: ADHD is Awesome by Penn and Kim Holderness
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
Sounds like a busy weekend for you. I hope you enjoy it. - Katie

DeleteWhat a gorgeous hike!
ReplyDeleteJoy, it was great!
DeleteYeah... at some point I used to have all my posts planned out in advance. No idea how I found the time. XD Hope you have fun for your daughter's birthday!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicky!
DeleteI'm going to see if I can get our library to bring in The Color of Home. When I do suggest books, they very often order them. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteClaudia, that's great that your library will normally get the books :) I hope you enjoy it when you get a chance to read it.
DeleteYour hike sounds fun. Happy Birthday to your daughter! Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThanks Yvonne!
DeleteWe are also doing birthday celebrations this weekend. It's my granddaughters 16th birthday.
ReplyDeleteThe library books always come in at the most inopportune time. It would great if we could put a date on when we want them.
Carla, enjoy your granddaughter's birthday celebration! I agree, it would have been nice to have them week's ago, but hopefully I will be able to get to them in a few weeks.
DeleteNothing like a good hike in nature to cure what ails ya!
ReplyDeleteJinjer, right?!
DeleteI need to get planning for Sci-Fi Month. I do have books planned out, but there are other posts I’d like to do. Kudos to you for doing Non-fiction November too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Olivia!
DeleteThis is a perfect time of the year for a hike. And I hope you have a fantastic celebration for your daughter's birthday.
ReplyDeleteWhy do all the library books come in just when we already have stacks of books to read?!
Deb, I agree, it is the perfect time of year for hikes. We were going to go again this afternoon but I am so tired I couldn't do it.
DeleteGreat photos from your hike - I love fall! Planning to get out for a walk this afternoon myself. Hope you're enjoying a relaxing day.
ReplyDeleteThanks JoAnn! Fall is my favorite season, I just love the beauty of the season.
DeleteThat book on ADHD sounds good. Love the fall foliage photos! I used to type my Sunday Post on Saturday afternoon. Yet here I am on Sunday afternoon. I'm hoping to get back on track in the next few weeks. But hey, at least we did get it done! :D
ReplyDeleteMeezan, it was/is a great book! And yes, we do get points for getting it done ;)
DeleteHappy Birthday to your daughter! We have lots of fall colour here now as well. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie!
DeleteI hope that your week this week has less hard things. :( I always find a walk in the woods is so good for my soul when it is tired.
ReplyDeleteThanks Erin! I enjoy the hikes but don't get out enough.
DeleteFriend, bless you in whatever your hard thing is! I am sorry!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your beautiful, beautiful hike! I cannot believe the gorgeous colors there!
