Stacking the Shelves #175 Sunday Post #172 Sunday Salon #166

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? I started my new job this week, so I worked Monday and Thursday. My normal will be M/TH/and Friday, but with this week having been the 4th of July I was off. My daughter got the job she interviewed for in Columbus and will be moving there on July 19 (my birthday, Happy b-day, I will be moving her, LOL). We had a few house showings this week, which is good to see interest on our house. I spent some time this week researching the Columbus book Festival, and I am going to try and go next weekend.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I finished 5 books this week. One was a reread so I won't be doing another review, and I need to write the review for the audiobook I finished late Friday. I have NO books checked out from the library! I am planning to try and read only my books this month. We'll see how it goes. I also updated my other blog this week.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: All's Fair in Love and Blackmail by Gracie Ruth Mitchell

Book Review: Perilous Tides by Elizabeth Goddard

Top Ten Tuesday-Recap of Anticipated releases early in 2025

June Reading Wrap Up 2025

Book Review: Under a Turquoise Sky by Lisa Carter

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  1. Congrats to your daughter! Though I'm sorry you'll end up having to help her move on your birthday. Moving is so not fun. And I hope you enjoy the Columbus Book Festival! Enjoy the rest of your weekend. :D

  2. I'm so glad your daughter got the job. That's great news. Moving isn't fun and I hope that goes smoothly for both of you.

I didn't have any new books this week either. Not really looking this week though. I love rereading. It is comforting to me.
