Stacking the Shelves #184 Sunday Post #181 Sunday Salon #175

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? No hiking last weekend, but I do continue to do almost daily walks. Even though it was a holiday weekend, so a shorter week (I even ended up with Friday off, so I have another 3 day weekend), it felt like a long week. However, overall, it was a good week, just tiring. I think we are planning to do another hike this weekend, but other than that, not much 😍. I plan to read, blog, and relax.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Library Treasures: This is our book club pick for this month. There is nothing in me that wants to read it. I am not a fantasy reader. Have you read it?

Other updates:

I finished SIX books this week and DNFd one, all the reviews are already up. I started a series on audio book this past week, they are shorter books, which is how I finished so many this week. I listened to them commuting to work, on my walks, and when I was sewing. I sent all my books back to the library (unread) so I could focus a little more on the books on my shelves without distractions. I have requested a few from the library, but they are not in yet.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: Bittersweet by Cathy Marie Hake

Book Review: God is Closer than You Think by John Ortberg

August Reading Wrap Up 2025

Top Ten Tuesday: Books With Occupations in the Title

Book Review: The Second Story Bookshop by Denise Hunter (audio)

Book Review: Cold Dead Night by Lisa Phillips

Book Review: How Not To Fall for the Guy Next Door by Meg Easton (audio)

Book Review: How Not To Fall for the Wrong Guy by Meg Easton (audio)

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!
