Top Ten Tuesday-Christmas wishes 2025

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic isBooks I hope Santa Brings/Bookish Wishes. I am going to tweak it a bit, and go with Christmas wishes. You might recall that we moved this past weekend. The best way to describe it is that it has been an ordeal. We have been pulling 14-hour days with a lot of frustrations. The movers put some things in places they shouldn't be, the dishwasher is broken, there is no stopper for the sink for hand washing dishes, the floors are impossible to clean, I aggravated my carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve which led to a sleepless night and excruciating pain (Saturday night), then dropped my computer on the marble floor, breaking it, punctured my puffy coat on a box, Matt had to fix the pantry in order for it to be usable and I could go on, but you get the picture. So, I have a list of things I wish for this season. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Christmas Wishes

Dear Santa, I try to be good and kind, and treat others like with respect. Please grant me these 10 wishes...

  1. To find a sink stopper
  2. To get all the boxes unpacked
  3. to get things more or less organized
  4. to find a new computer that is affordable and as good as the one I broke
  5. to find time to relax over this Christmas break (I am off until Jan. 2, yay!)
  6. to have safe travels when we go to TN on the 26th
  7. for my mail to find me at my new house (always a delay when moving), but only the good stuff, you can keep the bills 😉
  8. have a sale on coats so I can replace mine (it's not able to be sewn)
  9. for my daughter to have safe travels coming this way tonight
  10. and for all my friends, family, and those reading this blog to have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
For anyone who might be curious what is on my book wishlist it is here. Merry Christmas!!

What is a book you are hopeful to get for Christmas?
Our tree had it's own harrowing experience by being wrapped and transported to the new house, it is looking a little bedraggled, but, it made it and so did all the ornaments!!

  2. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with your new house. We're a military family, so I can relate with the moving pains. Your tree looks amazing despite its harrowing experience. I hope you and yours have a Merry Christmas!

  3. I'm so sorry about all the moving mishaps! That's so frustrating. You need an unpacking genie to come magically unbox everything and put it all away. Hope you find time to rest and relax and enjoy Christmas amidst all the chaos.

  13. Moving is the worst! I'm sorry it's been so much of an ordeal. I hope Santa at least brings you a sink stopper. That seems like a very reasonable gift. The elves should be able to ready that one right up, I'd think. Merry Christmas!

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

  14. Ha! We've also been looking for a sink stopper since we moved in here six years ago. So, good luck with that.
And the rest of the wishes, I hope you get all of them granted. They are quite reasonable.

    2. I found a few but none of them had the right size. There are two in the sinks but they have a motif that I don't like, so I'm looking for another one. But our pre-owners must have chosen a weird sink.

    3. Marianne, yeah, that's hard!
