Stacking the Shelves #212 Sunday Post #209 Sunday Salon #203

Hey, my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? This week was long! I worked four days instead of my typical 3. I am still struggling with the vertigo flare-up, but most days it is only in the morning and evenings. I saw the physical therapist on Thursday, and he does believe it is a stone in the ear that is in the wrong place. I am looking at 4 PT sessions, but I am on the waiting list for the next two weeks. I also got a cold this week, thanks to the girls I nanny. My husband and I celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary yesterday (and by celebrated, I mean, said Happy Anniversary, LOL), we are planning to go to Shipshewana, Indiana for a long weekend next weekend to celebrate. This weekend, we are helping our daughter pack up some of the stuff she had left at our place, since she will be moving to a bigger space at the end of the month. I am also hoping for some rest and this cold to make it's exit! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your  shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I only finished two books this week. I have started The Q by Beth Brower and it is LONG. The beginning is slow, so I have struggled to really get into it, but it has rave reviews, so I will persist.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: Code and Couture by Kristi Ann Hunter

Book Review: Harbor Pointe by Irene Hannon

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  10. Happy Anniversary! I hope your cold resolves sooner rather than later. Glad the vertigo isn’t as bad. Ugh. Wish you could get into PT sooner.

  11. I'm sorry you have not only vertigo but also a cold. Hopefully the physical therapy will help things and you will be able to enjoy an anniversary trip soon. I hope The Q starts working for you soon. I tend to give up quickly on books that are not working for me.

    1. Deb, I am determined to finish the Q to see if the ending is as good as everyone says it is. But, normally, I would quit and move on.

  16. Yikes, that vertigo is no fun. Hope the PT helps. LOL, we tend to low-key our anniversaries these days, but there's often a meal out so there is that.
    Enjoy your new bookhaul.

    Have a good week, Cindy!

  19. Happy anniversary! That's so exciting! enjoy your trip!!

And I hope that vertigo gets better soon...I deal with vertigo and have for years. It comes and goes and seems to be connected to some autoimmune issues. I may try to get it looked at by PT sometime and see if they can do that manuever on me. I'm worried it will make me have more vertigo!
