I am doing another link-up with top ten Tuesday. Today the topic is books on your summer 2021 reading list. I have a lot of books on my list to read, but I am going to start with the ones I am reading for reviews, followed by the four non-fiction books I hope to read (anyone else read nonfiction? Does it take you longer to read them than fiction, like it does me?) and end with some that I have been on my pile for a while. For more fun summer reading (and recommendations across all genres!), check out That Artsy Reader Girl.
Nonfiction Reads:
Other books I hope to read:
I could go on, but the way things are going I will probably only get to the first section and part of my nonfiction. In a normal summer I could easily read all of these in a month in a half, but alas, it is not a normal summer!
What is on your TBR list? Have you read any of the ones on mine? Any that I should read first?
So many good books! I just finished both Along a Storied Trail and Lady in Attendance. They were both so good! I hope you'll enjoy them, too! Here's my TTT list: https://daniellegrandinetti.com/2021/06/15/top-ten-tuesday-books-on-my-summer-to-be-read-list/
ReplyDeleteThey will both be new to me authors :) I have high expectations for them both.
DeleteSerena’s Song has such a pretty cover.

Thanks, I think so too! I am looking forward to it and hope it will be as good as it sounds. The author is not one I have heard of before, or read before.
DeleteWOW, what a list. 😄 I hope you have fun reading all of these books this summer.
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to my Summer Reading List.
I will have fun unless the book is a dud! I LOVE reading :) I am always in a book and would normally read about 20ish books a month...then we got a puppy and he has killed a lot of my free time, lol!
DeleteThose are some great looking covers!

Thank you! I am looking forward to getting them read. I finished "An Unlikely Pair" today and loved it!
DeleteI read ALONG A STORIED TRAIL a few weeks ago. It's a nice, uplifting read. I hope you enjoy it and all these others.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Have you read The Moonlight School by Suzanne Woods Fisher? This one sounded similar to that one which is why I decided to read it. I loved The Moonlight School and think I will enjoy this one as well. Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteI haven't yet, but it's on my TBR list! It does sound excellent.
DeleteI'm looking forward to reading most of these as well. Our church did a sermon series last year on Jenny Allen's book & it was really good! I've read This Time Around & loved it too :) My TTT
ReplyDeleteI am doing the Jenny Allen book with Proverbs 31, it is there Online Bible Study starting in a few weeks :)
DeleteI haven't heard of any of these! I'll have to check them out!
ReplyDeleteI hope you do! I finished "An Unlikely Pair" (5 stars) and "Serena's Song" (4 stars), and I am about half way through "A Lady in Attendance" and it will be a higher rating. Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteI also read non-fiction more slowly than fiction! I am hoping to read Husband Auditions sometime soon as well! :)
ReplyDeleteI tend to learn more from the non-fiction, but I also learn from fiction :) Thanks for stopping by!
