It's Monday! What are you reading? #9

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are planning to read over the week. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and add to your TBR pile! This meme is hosted by Kathryn at The Book Date.

I did not do as much reading as I had planned, we had family over for Thanksgiving and my daughter was home from college for the weekend. We had fun hanging out and being present with each other. We watched a few episodes of Leverage (have you watched it?) and taught my daughter how to play Nertz. It's a fun game that can be played with 2-12 players. I look forward to playing it with a larger group!

  2. I have to look at that Liver Rescue book!
I just finished a classic mystery (1934): A Man Lay Dead, by Ngaio Marsh, and I only have 44 minutes to finish The Harlequin Set by Agatha Christie. This is major, as it is my very last audiobook finishing my project of listening to all of Hercule Poirot's novels and short stories.
Tonight, I'll be starting Katherine's Wish, a historical novel based on the time Katherine Mansfield lived in France. If you think this could be interesting for you, I have a free copy. You can request it before end of November, and review it whenever you want: https://francebooktours.com/2021/10/14/linda-lappin-on-tour-katherines-wish/

    1. The Liver book was good. That is awesome to be finishing all of Hercule Poirot's novels and short stories!!! I was thinking of doing a challenge where I have to read a mystery from every decade starting in 1910, and I thought it would be fun to see how mystery as a genre has changed over the years.

  5. Great to hear you enjoyed The Memory Quilt. I have to admit I think I will want to read the next book and find out where the family goes next. I thought the parents were rather good.
