Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Books I've never Mentioned on my Blog. Since I started my blog in May this will be a pretty easy (I think) topic for me. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today!
5 star reads for me that I have not mentioned here before and no repeating an author 😉
What did you do for this week? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.
I've been blogging for so long that I had a really hard time with this topic! LOL. I'm glad you had so many titles to choose from. I also really liked TWILIGHT when I read it long ago, although it wasn't my genre then and definitely isn't now. Ha ha.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Susan, it is not my preferred genre either but was really well-written! I imagine the topic was hard for a lot of seasoned bloggers :)
DeleteI've read Divergent from your list...and loved it, too. :)
ReplyDeleteLark, the whole series was so good!
DeleteI loved both Twilight and Divergent. I also really loved whole series of both. :)
ReplyDeleteJenni, me too, even though they are not my typical genre :)
DeleteNice list. You have such a variety of books here. I couldn't figure out a lis.
ReplyDeleteWendy, a topic easier for us newbie bloggers than you seasoned bloggers :)
DeleteNice list. I never read Divergent, but I watched the movies since my daughter was so into that series. I would like to read something by Kingsbury.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog today.
Hi Cheryl, this is one of my favorites by Karen Kingsbury!
DeleteI also loved The Pursuit of Holiness and The Pursuit of God. Wonderful classics with timeless wisdom.
ReplyDeleteLisa, so very true!! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteOe, some favourites on here.
ReplyDeleteSarita, some of mine too!
DeleteI just started my blogging journey January 2021, but I didn't think I could come up with a list of books I haven't mentioned at some point. Especially since I started doing TTT.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping my earlier!
Pam @ Read! Bake! Create!
Pam, I understand that.
DeleteI've of course heard of Twilight and my daughters did read them and recommended, but that isn't favorite genre. That being said, I read Divergent book 1 and enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteMia, that is NOT a genre that I would normally EVER consider picking up and the only reason I read it is because a friend bought it for me.
DeleteCongratulations for finding books for this list. I had some trouble.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT this week is all about trilogies.
Thanks Marianne.
DeleteI've only read two of the books on your list. I struggled to come up with books for this prompt, so I skipped it.
ReplyDeleteKami, I understand. I imagine it was harder for more seasoned bloggers than the newbies like me :)
DeleteLoved Twilight when it was big - and had fun getting nostalgic with Midnight Sun last summer too, forgot how enjoyable it was!
ReplyDeleteI have not read Midnight Sun, but I did pick up The Host by her and plan to read it.
DeleteI've been keeping a list of older reviews on GoodReads that somehow never made it onto my blog. Twilight is one of them! I gave it 5 stars too. And then I loathed New Moon and mostly liked Eclipse. A former co-worker completely spoiled Breaking Dawn for me so I don't know if I'll ever finish the series.
ReplyDeleteOh Jen, that's horrible! I hate spoilers!! I thought the entire series was great.
DeleteDivergent and Twilight are two that I read but never reviewed. I think I liked the earlier books in each series the best but they were all pretty entertaining.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, I agree.
DeleteOoh Divergent! I really liked the first two books :)
ReplyDeleteGreg, I did too!
DeleteYears ago I read a bunch of Deanne Gist books and also Dee Henderson. I remember loving the latter, and probably Deanne's too (at the time). I'm just not much of a historical fiction reader. :)
ReplyDeleteI keep saying I am not much of a historical fiction reader, and I really wasn't, until I discovered humor in them...like Jen Turano, and the dual-time lines intrigue me as well.
