Stacking the Shelf #28, Sunday Post #25, Sunday Salon #20

Hey bookish friends! How are things going for you? We are on vacation and will be traveling for the next 9 days. We are starting in Indianapolis for a quick visit with some of my family. Then we will go to Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. We are excited, we haven't been to these three states before. Have a wonderful weekend!

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I added 9 books to my Goodreads shelf this week, but I took 7 off!!!!

I finished 5 books this week, one I had been reading for several weeks. I still need to post the review for 2 of them. One was a reread of an audio book that we listened to in the car yesterday so I won't be reviewing it again.

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  2. Your road trip sounds great -- I hope you write about it for a future Sunday Salon! I'm from the Midwest, so I know there are interesting things here despite the view of people from the East.

  3. Drive save and enjoy your trip....it's always nice to visit somewhere new! It's a good idea to include how many books were added to your TBR any given week - I think I'll borrow that idea!

  4. Enjoy your travels, Cindy. I took my daughter to a One Direction concert in Indianapolis a few years back, it's a beautiful city.

    1. Wendy, I grew up in Indianapolis (until I was 12), and visit a few times a year, we're familiar with that city, but not a whole lot else in Indiana.

  7. What a wonderful trip you have planned. I am like you, adding books to Goodreads then taking a few off. Sometimes i check the books out of the library and they don't appeal so....DNF.

  9. I hope you enjoy your vacation. I've been to Minnesota once. I went for work, but I had a chance to go to the Mall of America and it was awesome. If you get the chance, you should go.

  11. It sounds like you are having a wonderful trip. Our son and daughter-in-law live in Illinois, so we've been there many times, but we've never been in Minnesota or Wisconsin or Indiana. Chicago is an amazing city.

I think adding 9 books and taking 7 off is excellent!

    1. Deb, we didn't have the mental capacity for Chicago so we avoided it. We were not really sure what to do there either.
