My review:

 Rachel Fordham has a unique writing voice. 

The Hope of Azure Springs is about love, hope, self-discovery, and resilience. It has my emotions all over the place. It is simply beautiful and is still tugging on my heartstrings.

While I like the cover, I think the back cover would have been a better depiction of the story.  It is rare to come across a story that discusses the Orphan Trains, and I love the way Fordham used it in her story. I would love to know more about them and will be doing some research on them.

Em is a lovable, broken character who has been dealt one tough blow after another. I did not like Caleb when he was first introduced. I thought he was a cad and way too harsh with Em. However, after getting to know him better, I liked his character.  

Several characters experience personal growth, enhancing the overall story. The Hope of Azure Springs will linger in my mind for quite a while. Em, even longer. This is a must-read for fans of historical fiction.
