Happy Tuesday, my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is a freebie! Since today is my birthday 🎈🎈🎈 I decided to make some birthday wishes! I am truly thankful for another year and look forward to seeing what this next year holds. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.
Ten Eight Birthday Wishes:
1. The War between Ukraine and Russia to end peacefully
2. For wisdom and guidance with decisions we are making
3. For this blog to be a blessing to others
4. The motivation to eat right and work out
5. Gluten free cupcake 🧁
6. To learn to crochet
7. To finish my reading challenges
8. Do 1000 hours unplugged (learned about this from Linda Stoll's blog)
I am blessed beyond measure and do not need anything. I must be getting older because I can't think of anything else to wish for 😂😂 So I wish you ALL a great day!! Happy Tuesday!
Just for fun, if you had a magic wand, and could grant a wish, which one would you grant (I am granting #5 to myself 😂)? What is a wish you have?
What did you do for this week? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.
Happy birthday! I hope it’s delightful for you and that all of your wishes come true. If you lived in Toronto, I could direct you to some amazing gluten-free bakeries here to help make your cupcake wish come true. But I hope you have something similar in your area so it happens anyway! :)
ReplyDeleteIf I could have one wish, I’d want there to be a cure for Long Covid. I have two relatives dealing with it, and it would be such a relief to know that they could both have a full recovery with the right pill or other treatment.

Lydia, I do have one bakery about 30 minutes away that has GF cupcakes and I went and visited them today :) I think a cure for long covid is a GREAT wish...and making it go away completely! If I was able I would grant those wishes!
Delete🍨🎈🎉Happy Birthday Cindy!!🎉🎈🍨💜💜💜💜💜💜
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteI keep forgetting to change the anonymous to my name! Sorry Cindy!!💜
DeleteIt's okay, my account has started doing this too. I don't know why or how to fix it!
DeleteI don't think we can fix it since so many of us seem to have that problem. We will just have to wait until Google wakes up and changes whatever gltich they cause.
DeleteMarianne, I am glad I am not the only one having the problem!
DeleteDefinitely not. I've seen quite a few others complaining, as well. And you should ask my husband how often I sit at my laptop and moan.
DeleteSame here. That means that hopefully, it will resolve it by itself (well, by the Google people) without me having to turn my whole PC upside down.
DeleteHappy Birthday Cindy!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, your blog is a blessing to many of us. And yes, perhaps you are getting older, but I've also learned through the years, that the closer you are to God - the more content you are with life in general. Storms still rage, but there is peace.
Lots of love and blessings for you in the new year!!

Thanks so much Mareli! I agree, being closer to God does bring peace. I truly am thankful for another year :)
DeleteHappy Birthday, Cindy. 🎂
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your wisthlist. Hope you will get your gluten free cupcake. I totally understand that wish. Mine always have to be lactose free.
But the greatest and best wish is the first one, of course. Let's all hope that the Ukrainians can live in a free and peaceful country again soon.
My TTT is a Top Fifteen this week.
Marianne, I did get my GF cupcake, I am also in need of lactose free. That is my biggest wish as well. The cupcake was a silly/fun wish ;)
DeletePoor you. It's hard enough having to watch lactose, having both must be terrible. But wonderful that you got it. And I know, we don*t "need" a certain cake but it's nice to get one from time to time.
DeleteMarianne, so true. Although I don't think any of us are suffering, thankfully!
DeleteNot exactly suffering but still ... I don't know how the situation is in your part of the world but I often end up not having anything to eat when we go out with people.
DeleteMarianne, I have so many food intolerance's, I rarely go out to eat and mostly fix everything I eat from scratch. If I do go out I try to find the thing that will bother me the least.
DeleteI do that at home, as well, just when you go out with others, it is difficult. And we are quite a sociable bunch.
DeleteWell this is an awesome post! What a good idea. I hope all your wishes come true, but the one I wish for most is peace and freedom for the people of Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark, me too!
DeleteAll of these would be great. Happy birthday! I hope you get some of these wishes.
ReplyDeleteDeanna, I did get my cupcake one, I made sure of it ;)
DeleteHappy birthday! May all your wishes come true :)

Melanie, thanks so much!! I tried one other time and failed, so we will see ;)
DeleteHappy birthday!!! It is funny how as we get older we often are more at peace and content with what we have. And absolutely yes to peace in Ukraine. Hope you have a wonderful day of celebration.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Greg!
DeleteHappy Birthday, Cindy! I hope you get all your wishes.
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy!
