Stacking the Shelves #147, Sunday Post #144, Sunday Salon #138

Hey bookish friends! It was another long week with multiple appointments. We also had a few extra classes (work), so the week was longer in that way as well.
However, I did get some answers from the medical tests I have been having that explain the chronic fatigue and stuff I have been dealing with, but my functional medicine doctor needs several days to figure out where to begin fixing me, LOL! I am thankful for answers and now to find the right direction to go in.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

  2. I hope your doc can fix things soon for you, Cindy. It's scary going through medical things you know nothing about. Thinking of you with healing thoughts 🤗

  3. I hope your doctor is able to find solutions for you, quickly. It can be so frustrating when there are lots of tests, but few answers and we are praying for you to get what you need. We are in the same boat here with a perplexing medical issue - one night Eleanor said her legs felt heavy, and she's now having to use a wheelchair at school and a walker at all other time to get around independently. The big scary things like leukemia have been ruled out, but not having a concrete answer is still scary in itself. Here's to Christmas miracles and all of us getting the answers we need <3

    2. Thank you so much. It's been two weeks and she started PT and OT. Next appointments are tomorrow; something is happeing between the messages her brain is sending, and the message the nerves are receiving and reacting to. Hoping PT and OT will retrain the nerves and that is not something chronic.

We will be praying for you all as well, that the best course of treatments are on their way for you! <3

  9. I'm glad that you are getting some answers. It's frustrating when you are waiting. 4 books read is amazing! I can maybe get that number done in 2-3 weeks depending on the length of my son's naps 🤣

    Have a good weekend.

    1. Emily, I sneak in a few minutes of reading all day, then read 30 minutes to an hour and a half (depending on the day) before bed. Plus, audiobooks are working for me :) Have a great weekend!
