Love, Lace, and minor Alterations

Title: Love, Lace, and minor Alterations

Author: V. Joy Palmer

Publisher: White Fire Publishing

Genre: Christian Fiction, Contemporary Romance

Source: Library

My Review:

Love, Lace, and Minor Alterations was V. Joy Palmer's debut novel. She has since written two more books about the side characters in this book.

I liked this book. I loved the premise of working in a bridal shop, it has not been overdone. Izze is great at her job and lives with her three best friends. It is fun to watch Izze and Kelsey work together and get glimpses of their home life with their friends, Courtney and Apryl.

Miles and Izze's meet cute is fun, as is the scene later when they realize they are going to be working together. Miles is good at his job and Izze hates change, so she is constantly butting heads with him.

Overall, it was an enjoyable story. In the middle two of my pet peeves happened, and it really put a damper on the story. The ending almost made up for it.

★★★/5

  1. It's a cute cover. And sounds like a cute story. But maybe one I could skip this time. Too many other cute romances on my list already. ;D
