My Review:
I don't know why I waited so long to read Vying for the Viscount. I have enjoyed every Kristi Ann Hunter book I have read, and this is no exception. Anne Marie Giedon does a fantastic job with the narration.
While I felt like the story had a somewhat slow start with Hudson's journey from India to England, once he arrived, the story's pace picked up.
Read for:
🏇funny meet-cute
🏇she grooms horses
🏇evil stepmother
🏇unique storyline
🏇witty banter
🏇likeable characters
🏇character growth
🏇England setting
I am looking forward to starting the next book in the series soon. I highly recommend this one.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
When a strange man appears to be stealing horses at the neighboring estate, Bianca Snowley jumps to their rescue. And when she discovers he's the new owner, she can't help but be intrigued--but romance is unfeasible when he proposes they help secure spouses for each other. Will they see everything they've wanted has been there all along before it's too late?
This sounds really good, Cindy. I like the sound of the meet cute and finding each other spouses, I think I know where that is going. Throw in witty banter and I am interested.
ReplyDeleteIt was such a fun read (listen!).
DeleteI like that there are horses involved a little in this one. I'm not sure I've read anything by this author before.
