Stacking the Shelves #183 Sunday Post #180 Sunday Salon #174

Hey my bookish friends! How was your week? We did go for another long hike on Sunday, just not as long as the week before, but it was actually harder, LOL. We went to Cuyahoga Valley National Park again, but hiked a different area. I took pictures, so click on this link if you are interested in that. It was another long week, but we got great news this week. My 22 year-old nephew is now cancer free! Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes for him, they are were much appreciated. We don't really have plans this weekend, maybe another hike, some walking, I might clean out my car (it desperately needs it), but nothing firmly planned. Do you have any plans?

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

I will be finishing two more this weekend, I have one chapter in one of the books (it's nonfiction), and more than halfway finished with the other. I posted several things on my other blog this week as well, if you are interested you can check them out here.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Summer Reading Challenges Wrap Up Post 2025

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  7. Your nephew is cancer-free---that's the best news! I am happy for him and you and your extended family.

I loved reading about your hike in the national park. It's a new to me park. My husband and I love to hike, and it looks like it's about five hours from our son's house in Chicago (which is nothing for this Texas girl!) So maybe one of these days...

  12. Yay for your nephew's good news. I've been a cancer survivor for 40 years, so I can attest that, while always an important experience, it's not a life-defining one.
