Top Ten Tuesday-Bookish confessions

Happy Tuesday my bookish friends!! I hope you all are doing well. Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic isNon-bookish Freebie (The sky is the limit here. Make a top ten list on any topic of your choosing, bookish or not!). I am going to go with some bookish confessions. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can head over there to see what our other bookish friends are up to today.

Top Ten Tuesday-Bookish confessions

  • Last Christmas I had my husband, daughter and son each pull 6 books from the books on my bookshelf that I had not read, with the goal of having them all read by the end of this year. I have 8 and still have these 10 to read:
  1. Cold Dead Night by Lisa Phillips
  2. The Illusionist's Apprentice by Kristy Cambron
  3. Finding Lady Enderly by Joanna Davidson Politano
  4. Shadow of Deceit by Susan Sleeman
  5. Home to Paradise by Barbara Cameron
  6. The Thief of Black Friars Lane by Michelle Griep
  7. The Austen Escape by Katherine Reay
  8. The Bronte Plot by Katherine Reay
  9. The Juliet Code by Pepper Basham
  10. By the Light of the Silvery Moon by Tricia Goyer
  • I am tired of several of the bookish challenges I signed up for this year but I don't like to quit.
  • I put a lot of pressure on myself to do some summer challenges and I am glad they are almost over.
  • I will never had a huge Instagram following, I don't do reels and have no desire to. I don't have time to watch them either, so I rarely do.
  • I am great about getting my reviews on my blog and Goodreads, but I don't get them to Instagram as often as I would like.
  • I will not get a TikTok account, I don't need something else to keep up with.
  • I continue to add to my want to read list on Goodreads. Last week I hit 830 books on there and decided that was too many, so spent a little time going through my list and deleting some books that have been on there since 2020 that I no longer want to read. Unfortunately, it is still at 820 books and I read from the list all the time! I need to cut some more books from it. The last book added to that list was: Death Follows Her by Rachel Dylan.
  • I had an unofficial goal of getting all the Love Inspired books on my shelves read this year. They are shorter than the other books, so I wanted to read them and then donate them. I have not made a dent in this at all.
  • There are several books I want to buy that just came out. I am trying not to since I still have so many books unread to read (ya know, like the 10 listed above!). The struggle is real, isn't it?!

What topic did you do today? Do you have any bookish confessions you would like to confess, LOL?

Have you read any of these? I would love for you to share in the comments. To see what other topics our bookish friends are doing this week click on the image below.
