Stacking the Shelves #195 Sunday Post #192 Sunday Salon #186

Hey my bookish friends!!  How are you all doing? I have missed checking in over the last few weeks! We have been busy looking for a place to live, and packing up
our house. I have been sporadically posting over the last two weeks. I think I have one more ARC to review, then all my deadlines on that front will be met for the year. This weekend will mostly be packing and cleaning. Of course, I will find pockets of time for reading 😃. What are your plans for the weekend?

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your  shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:

I finished 2 books this week. The first was a 2-star read so I didn't post on the blog. The second was a reread that I finished last night, not sure if I will update the review and repost it or not. I took back all the nonfiction books I had checked out, there's just not time to read them right now.

My other blog if you are interested.

What you might have missed on the blog this week:

Book Review: Meddling with Mistletoe by Liz Johnson

Book Review: Single All the Way by Kate Watson

Book Review: Green Card Christmas by Jen Atkinson

Book Review: Books with Dr. Fizzlebop by Brock Eastman

I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.

What books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!

  3. I'm like you---if I didn't like a book, I generally don't post much about it.

The last time we moved was forty-one years ago. With so many rocks (husband) and books (me) at our house, we hope to never move again.

  6. A busy week for you. I am hoping the Christmas book I put on hold at the library comes in before Christmas. I should go to the bookstore, instead, I guess.

My Sunday Salon this week is really my 2025 Best Books Round-Up. I'm excited to share it. I'm been completely focused on it for the past two weeks. https://headfullofbooks.blogspot.com/2025/12/the-top-50-books-of-2025-best-books.html

  8. We're hoping to move in 2026, so I'm following your progress with interest. I'm dreading the decisions and the physical work. So, I need to remind myself that this is survivable.

  16. I may get a copy of Prayers of Rest. Good luck with your move. Finding a house and moving is stressful. Thankfully the last time I moved my oldest son told my youngest son and I about his next door neighbor who was selling his house. We ended up buying t it.

    1. Vicki, yes, the market has changed a lot in the last 5 years or so, it is harder to move and find houses now than it was then.

    1. Becki, I have limited my ARCs so I can manage them. When I had too many I was super overwhelmed and not too happy.
