Trace of Doubt

Title: Trace of Doubt

Author: Diann Mills

Publisher: Tyndale House

Genre: Christian Suspense

Source: Net Galley

My Review:

From the beginning, we doubt that Shelby is the one who killed her brother-in-law. I found this book to have a slow start, but once it got moving it was difficult to put down.

My Review:

I love the cover of this book and thought the top of the cover had cobwebs on it (it doesn't look closer). I love the picture of the town, it's beautiful with its vivid colors.

While visiting her grandfather before his retirement as the Roman official in the queen's court, Chariline overhears that her father is still alive, and discovering his identity becomes her obsession. Both her grandfather and the queen have reasons for keeping this secret, however, and forbid her quest.
