My Review:

I love how the Love Inspired Suspense books always tend to start with a bang. This one was no different. We are immediately thrown into the action and it just kept going. Everly gets an unwelcome surprise when she overhears two guys saying she is wanted for murder. As she runs for her life she runs right into the arms of her ex-husband, Isaac, literally. 

With no time to explain why he is there, Isaac immediately jumps into the action and does his best to keep Everly safe. He is floored by the secret she reveals. They both have some trust issues to work through as they work together to figure out what is going on. Isaac also has some secrets. How will Everly react when he shares his?

This is a quick, action-packed story. The dialogue flows smoothly, the plot moves quickly, and the end is satisfying. Hats off to Kerry Johnson for a solid debut novel.
