Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

I
am intentionally trying NOT to add to my shelves, focusing on catching
up on ARC's and reading my OWN books (with the exception of my book
club). I added 4 books to my Goodreads shelf this week.
I finished 5 books this week. I still need to write/share the reviews for 2 of them.
I also did a monthly wrap-up which you can read if you are interested here.
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
What
books have you added to your physical or virtual bookshelves? I would
love to hear from you. Click on the icons below to join in on the fun. Have a great weekend!
Some interesting looking books.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying not to add to my shelves too. It's not going well 😂
Have a great weekend

Emily, LOL, I think we all try...sigh, book nerd problems.
DeleteThese both look good. I too am trying to not add as many books to my shelves. I was doing better but now there is some new temptations. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I totally understand that! There are SO many books coming out in the next few months that I want to read, but I keep reminding myself they will be there later too!!
DeleteThat's a pretty good reading week, sounds like! Hope your weekend is nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg!
DeleteVicki, it is a series and I highly recommend reading from the beginning, they are all good!
ReplyDeleteI've had to really restrict myself from NetGalley for a while. You have a couple of great books here. I was debating on requesting the Denise Hunter book. I'm sure I"m going to regret not getting it. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWendy, it's not too late, LOL. It doesn't publish until September, and maybe your library will have it later? I have been restricting myself on Net Galley since the beginning of the year...I think I've only requested like 25 books so far this year (whereas last year was over 100).
DeleteParticipating in Stacking the shelves is making me realize just how many books I add to my shelves. No wonder I feel like I'm falling further and further behind.
ReplyDeleteMark, yeah, there is that, LOL!
DeleteHarvest Moon looks like a lovely book for summer. Cake That! sounds intriguing, too.
ReplyDeleteI have purposefully cut back on the numbers of books I buy. There are so many wonderful old books that I want to focus on reading before I run out of time.
Deb, I get that. I am feeling it too. I am planning to focus on my physical books over the next few months.
DeleteHarvest Moon looks like a fun book for Spring reading! Hope your stresses are reduced this week ahead. I went on a NG spree again yesterday-- I know, I shouldn't have even logged in. So the next few months will have more than enough reading material for me.
ReplyDeleteLOL, Mia, I understand. I have only logged in for specific titles lately. I know if I get on there and start looking I will go crazy. I look forward to seeing what you get accepted for over the next few months.
DeleteGreat reading week, Cindy! I am with you, trying to thin out the shelves but I still manage to bring a few physicla books home.
ReplyDeleteTina, I get it, sigh ;) Bookworm problems!
DeleteHi Cindy! I like the cover for Cake That and the wordplay is also quite funny.
ReplyDeleteI still need to sort my reading schedule for May, will hopefully get to it tomorrow and then see how much room there is for new books. LOL!!
Have a good week and happy reading!
Elza Reads
Elza, I totally understand. Have a great week!
DeleteI hope you have a less stressful week this week!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to limit the "books in" and focus on books and ARCs I already have, too, with mixed success. I did well at limiting my Kindle purchases this week... but the Chirp and Audible sales were too tempting. And I also received two review books. But I'm looking forward to reading both, so no complaints here!
Lark, I try not to complain, especially since I am the one requesting all the books, LOL. But, I am feeling the pressure to read more of my own books and maybe clean out my shelves a little bit.
DeleteWow that's awesome you read 5 books this week! It's a juggling act between ARCs and library books and books I own. Books I own get the short shrift because I can read them "any time" without a due date.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Anne, I know, which is my problem, LOL. I have close to 200 in my house that I have not read...sigh. I am going to get that number down over the next few months.
DeleteGreat additions! I hope you will enjoy them. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteYay for weekends of reading and relaxing after a stressful week!
ReplyDeleteJinjer, YES! They are MUCH needed!
