In or Out Tag
Kami's friend Suey did this tag on her YouTube channel, and I copied this from Kami because I thought it would be fun to join in and do something different.
- Reading the Last Page First - Out! I have never done this.
- Enemies to Lovers - In
- Dream Sequences - Out
- Love Triangles - Out, I have rarely found one I enjoy
- Cracked Spines - Out
- Back to My Small Town - In
- Monsters Are Regular People - Out
- No Paragraph Breaks - Out, I need them!
- Multi-generational Sagas - While I don't read a lot of these, I think with the right story line I am fine with them.
- Re-Reading- I used to be out, but now IN, IF the book is REALLY good or I have forgotten itπ and it is good enough to finish once I remember I have read it before.
- Artificial Intelligence - Out
- Drop Caps - In
- Happy Endings - In
- Plot Points That Only Converge at the End - Not sure about this one.
- Detailed Magic Systems - Out
- Classic Fantasy Races - Out
- Unreliable Narrators - Not sure about this one either.
- Evil Protagonists - Out
- The Chosen One- π€·
- When the Protagonist Dies- π€·
- Really Long Chapters - Out
- French Flaps- I don't tend to buy them so probably out
- Deckled Edges - Probably Out
- Signed Copies by the Author - In
- Dog-Earing Pages - Out
- Chapter Titles Instead of Numbers - I am fine with either or both.
I'm so glad you did this! It was fun to see your answers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing me to it, Kami! I had fun, and had to look up what a few things were, LOL!
DeleteThis is so fun. I like to re read, but rarely have time for it.
ReplyDeleteWendy, by saying no to more reviews I now do have time to re-read :)
DeleteThis is a fun post. I'm definitely out on When the Protagonist Dies, but I pretty much agree with you on all the rest of these. :D
ReplyDeleteLark, LOL! Love that we have a lot of common ground :)
DeleteI mostly read e-books so a lot of these questions seem unnatural to me in this day and age! As far as plot elements and characters go, I can be convinced by a good author, no prior judgement.
ReplyDeletebest… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Mae, I could see that. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteWhat a fun tag! I loved reading your answers!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie!
DeleteHow fun!
ReplyDeleteI'll just say about #1: OUT OUT OUT. No way I'll ever do this, lol
Emma, right?! That would spoil the entire book for me!
DeleteFun post! No paragraph breaks? Out π
ReplyDeleteLucy, right?! It would be so hard to read a book without them!
DeleteThis is fun! I may have to snurch it myself...
ReplyDeletePlease do and then come back and tell me so I can read your answers :)
