Body of Evidence

Title: Body of Evidence

Series: Triple Threat #3

Author: Irene Hannon

Genre: Suspense, Christian Fiction, Romance,

Publisher: Revell

Source: Library

My review:

The Triple Threat series loosely follows three sisters. Body of Evidence is the youngest sister, Grace's story. While it could be read as a stand-alone, I would recommend reading the books in order.

Body of Evidence is my favorite book of the series. The action starts immediately and keeps the reader wanting more. I liked Grace and Nate, and I liked them together, although it was almost Insta-love, so not quite believable to me. I did figure out the murderer about halfway through, but, as with Irene Hannon, she kept me second guessing myself almost to the reveal.

On a side note, Grace is a pathologist and does the autopsies, and this reader could have done without some of the details.

I recommend Body of Evidence, and the whole series, to those who enjoy romantic suspense novels.

★★★★/5

Synopsis (Goodreads):

Forensic pathologist Grace Reilly has seen her share of unusual deaths in rural Missouri. But when she begins to notice a curious pattern in autopsies of elderly residents whose demise appears to be natural, she takes her concerns to Sheriff Nate Cox.

Nate is skeptical about the link Grace is seeing between the deaths--and her suspicions of foul play. But her persistence is compelling. Once she finally convinces him her theory is credible and they join forces to investigate, danger follows. Because exposing the truth could destroy several lives--including Grace's.

Queen of inspirational romantic suspense Irene Hannon closes out her bestselling Triple Threat series with this gripping tale of secrets revealed and romance sparked.
