My Review:
I Walked With Jesus: New Testament Stories of Faith and Healing From the Least of These is the first story I have read by Kathryn Elizabeth Jones.
The author states, "I have taken a few liberties with these New Testament stories. For most of them, a name was not attached to the story." She has taken parables, like the woman at the well and created a back story for her, while staying true to the Scriptures. Where appropriate, the Scriptures are used in dialogue. For a book like this, it feels familiar if you know the stories, but it also gives you a look at how it could have been.
This is a quick read, with pictures like the ones on the cover. The dialogue is natural and smooth. Each chapter is a different parable or person from the Bible.
If you enjoy historical fiction written in this form, you will enjoy this book. Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this book. I was not required to provide a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
Have you ever felt like one of the least of these?
What
do you know of the woman at the well? What led her to the well that day
- the exact day Jesus would be there? What of the lepers, the blind
man, the woman who dried Jesus' feet with her hair? What of the
Centurion who said at the cross, "Surely this was the Son of God”?
Stories of Jesus. You have heard them since you were young. But what about the parts that you’ve never heard?
The stories that need to be told? The stories you need to hear?
