My Review:
A Not so Fictional Fall is my first book by Savannah Scott. It is book six of the Sweater Weather series. The books are loosely tied together by their cozy fall romcom vibe and take place in the same town, Harvest Hollow.
Tasha is a great character. I love that she is a bookstagrammer and does other things to help authors. Going on a trip to meet her online besties and her favorite author is a fabulous plot line. It really resonates with book nerds. It is something I would love to do.
I typically don't read what a book is about before I read it. Not having read the synopsis, I was still able to predict that Tasha's favorite author was not going to be what she thought. Her first encounter with Pierre is memorable and adorable.
While Pierre and Tasha's relationship is a bit of insta-love, I still enjoyed their interactions and getting to know each other. I thought the book would be funnier than it was (it did have humor), and it was spicer than I would have liked (personal preference). However, it is still considered a clean read, although it skirts the line. I wanted to love the story, but there were a few things that rubbed me the wrong way.
Overall, it is a good addition to the Sweater Weather series.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
I live for happily ever afters.
And I'm
finally meeting my favorite romance author in person! Only, all this
time, I thought author, Amelie De Pierre, was a woman. It turns out,
Pierre Toussaint is the man behind the books that make me weak in the
knees.
He could be the consummate book boyfriend with his dreamy
hazel eyes, strong jawline, and those black-rimmed glasses. Not to
mention that accent. Oh, that French accent. When Pierre speaks, I feel
like I’m curled in his arms on a riverbank being fed chocolate-dipped
strawberries. Not Pierre’s arms, of course. We barely just met. And I’m
just me. And he’s Pierre, internationally renowned romance author.
Seeing Pierre in person has me stammering and blushing—two things I
don’t usually do. Imagine my surprise when I receive a call a few weeks
after meeting Pierre—from his agent—proposing marriage. Not that I’d
marry his agent. They want me to marry Pierre.
It's too bad that this one wasn't quite as good for you as the others have been. I am enjoying this sweater weather series. :D
