Title: One More Song Audiobook review
Series: Sweet Peach #2
Author: Annah Conwell
Narrators: Amanda Friday and Andy Harrington
Publisher: Independently Published
Genre: RomCom, Christian Fiction, ContemporarySource: Audible
My Review:
One More Song is the second book in the Sweet Peach series. I highly recommend reading them in order. They follow a group of four best friends and each book builds on the previous one.
Read for:
🎸second chance romance
🎸best friends brother
🎸celebrity vibes
🎸small town
🎸strong friendships
I adored the first book and thought this one was just okay. I did not connect with Grace or Wyatt, so it was hard to be invested in their relationship. I also didn't love the nicknames Wyatt called Grace. One More Song also lacked the humor from the first book and the witty banter. Regardless, I plan to continue the series and can't wait to read Sophie and Bennett's story next.
★★★/5
Synopsis (Goodreads):
My best friend’s brother broke my heart five years ago
He left me behind after our summer together to chase his dreams in Nashville.
Now he’s back, all rich and famous, and my best friend wants us to write a song together for her wedding.
The
last thing I want to do is write a love song with the man who broke my
heart, but I love my best friend too much to tell her no.
He
starts trying to win me back again with grand gestures and flirty lines,
but I can’t give in. My mother chased my biological father down for
years, and all it led to was heartbreak. I won’t repeat her mistakes.
One
More Song is a second-chance celebrity romcom for fans of sweet
romantic comedies. It has all the sizzling chemistry you love, without
any explicit scenes. Check out this second book in the Sweet Peach
Series, a four-book standalone series based around best friends in
Georgia.
It's a cute cover. I'm sorry this one wasn't as good as the first one in this series.
