My Review:
Once I started reading Meeting Her Match, I did not want to put it down!!!
"Because you keep claiming you're not prickly, and I seem to derive a great deal of satisfaction from proving you are."
Camilla and Owen meet in dire circumstances, with Owen immediately lighting a match to Camilla's temper (which she vehemently denies having!) I absolutely loved their banter and watching their relationship develop.
Read for:
💕Camilla's nonexistent temper
💕the banter
💕the LOL moments
💕Owen's Meemaw
💕Owen's family
💕Camilla's challenge with Meemaw and Aunt Elma
💕All the kissing talk 🤣🤣
💕Sparks everywhere ✨️
I loved everything about this book. It had a great story line, wonderful characters, and left me with a happy sigh, while also wanting more. I enjoyed the whole series, but I think this was my favorite of them all.
Thank you to Bethany House for the opportunity to read this book. I was not required to provide a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
Miss Camilla Pierpont, a renowned matchmaker and
influential member of the New York Four Hundred, has vowed never to
marry after suffering a devastating heartbreak during her debut years
ago. However, when she is nearly abducted along the Hudson River, she
finds herself rescued by an annoyingly outspoken, albeit fascinating,
gentleman who challenges her in a manner she wasn't expecting. After
learning that Camilla Pierpont has enjoyed success with taking wayward
young ladies in hand, Mr. Owen Chesterfield travels to the Hudson River
Valley determined to convince Camilla to sponsor his sister, who is in
desperate need of social rehabilitation.Knowing her life is in danger,
Camilla agrees to Owen's proposition and travels with him to West
Virginia, finding herself charmed by the less-than-formal attitude of
his small hometown, as well as by Owen himself. But danger waits in the
shadows, disrupting what she knows would be the most spectacular match
she's ever made--her own.
I loved A Match in the Making and this one sounds equally delightful. And though I keep trying, I never seem to get caught up on her books. But they are a lot of fun. :D
ReplyDeleteLark, I am caught up on this series, but not her books, LOL! I am with you!
