Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:
I finished 3 books this week. I am caught up on reviews for now I did several updates on my family blog this week. I also cleared out 100 books on Tuesday!!! Mostly nonfiction, but I couldn't believe it was that many! Pictures are here. I still need to finish going through my shelves to see if there is anything else I am either never going to read, or reread, and I hope to do some of that this weekend.
What you might have missed on the blog this week:
Book Review: The Open Bible NKJV
Book Review: The Run Option by Annah Conwell
Book Review: Your New Life with Adult Children by Gary Chapman
Top Ten Tuesday-Which "road" will you read (GO VOTE FOR WHICH ONE I SHOULD READ FIRST)
Book Review: Beneath the Surface by Lynn H. Blackburn
Book Review: In Too Deep by Lynn H. Blackburn
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
Moving is such a big job! I would have no energy left to do anything else. ;D Good luck with all of it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lark, I am already tired and ready for it to be over, LOL!
DeleteGood luck with the prep for selling the house. I understand there is a shortage of homes for sale so I hope yours goes fast!
ReplyDeleteHarvee, there is, it is awful!
DeleteMoving is a big deal, but I hope your house sells quickly and everything goes smoothly. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Meezan, I appreciate it!
DeleteI think I have missed something, it feels like you JUST moved?? Good luck with getting everything ready, it is so exhausting!
ReplyDeleteSarah, we did, we moved into this house two years ago, we are hoping to downsize.
DeleteMemorial Day is just around the corner, so I wish you good luck in getting everything ready to sell your house. It's amazing that you were able to clear out a hundred books. Good job!
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb, hoping to get a bit more out the door before we actually move, LOL!
DeleteI will be thrilled if could put our house on the market by Memorial Day. Here’s hoping! May it all go smoothly for both of us.
ReplyDeleteThanks Olivia, we basically just need to do a bit of decluttering, and some yard work.
DeleteGood luck with the move and the prep!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Erin!
DeleteWow! Clearing out 100 books is a ton of work and will power! Moving is a good motivator. Good for you! Where do you take them? I usually take them to Coas, our local used bookstore for credit or the Friends of the Library for resale.
ReplyDeleteSo impressed by your purge! Take good care!
Patricia, normally I put my books in Little Free Libraries, or take them to the library to resale, but this time my husband dropped them at a local thrift store.
DeleteMoving is a huge job and you were smart to get a good jump on it. I hope you’re excited for a new home.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie, I am, we are hoping to downsize.
DeleteMy least favorite part of moving is the packing. I hate it. Good luck with the moving preparations. I hope you get a good deal on your house! And a reading poll! What fun! I voted in your Tuesday poll. Whichever book wins, I hope you enjoy it! Have a great week, Cindy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy! I hate the packing process as well!
DeleteI once moved three times in 18 months. Not recommended. But the final move has lasted for 26 years so far. Hope everything goes well in preparing to list.
