Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:
I finished 4 books this week and still need to review one of them. I also looked through a TON of quilting books and magazines, planning for quilts. It was a nice mindless thing to do when I couldn't focus on anything else.
What you might have missed on the blog this week:
Book Review: A Twist of Faith by Pepper Basham
Book Review: Zero Waste Quilting by Patty Murphy
Top Ten Tuesday-Summer Vibes
Book Review: Charming the Troublemaker by Pepper Basham
More Summer Reading Challenges!
Book Review: A Match for Emma by Pepper Basham
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
Buyers backing out of a sales agreement is really infuriating. I hope the realtor got to keep their deposit — that’s what they do here. Good luck with finding new and decent buyers!

Thanks Mae!
DeleteWow, crazy week. My week was the first one on summer break. I'm a middle school teacher. So I spent a lot of time with coffee and book on the patio. I hope you enjoy your new reads. My new books were the previous book in a series I wanted to read. I've read two so far and moved on to the one that got my attention. You can see them on my blog. https://stuckinbooks.com
ReplyDeleteVal, yay for summer break, coffee, and your nose in a book, sounds perfect :) I hope you get lots of moments like that this summer!
DeleteI’m so sorry that you’re still under the weather and that your buyer backed out (I hope you got to keep the deposit). I hope you feel better soon Cindy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jodie!
DeleteYou certainly had a week of ups and downs. I hope you're enjoying some rest and relaxation this weekend and your week ahead is heavy on the ups. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Meezan, I appreciate it!
DeleteUgh. It is frustrating when someone backs out of a house deal. I hope the next buyer goes through with it. And it's so difficult to be sick when everything is so busy. I do hope you were able to go to the fabric sale; I hope you brought home some great bargains.
ReplyDeleteDeb, I wore myself flat out, but the fabric sale was totally worth it!
DeleteGood luck with selling the house. They say it's a buyer's market right now as housing is so scarce.
ReplyDeleteHarvee, it is so true!
DeleteSounds like you had a hectic week in some ways! I hope you get a buyer for your house soon. Ever Faithful sounds interesting!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karis!
DeleteUgh! I am so sorry! I am sorry about the infection and the buyers backing out. I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd you have reminded me that I need to read Ever Faithful still! I really have enjoyed that series so far.
Erin, I enjoyed that series as well and have been meaning to get to Ever Faithful for over a year, LOL!
DeleteThat's a disapointment your buyer backed out. We are moving in just 4 days and that has been stressful enough with the packing, etc. Hope you were able to keep the deposit if it was after the fifteen days when they could back out.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck in your house showings. Keep us updated!
Thanks Tina!
DeleteThe fabric sale sounds exciting, especially after a week of perusing quilting magazines and books.
ReplyDeleteJoy, it was perfect timing!
DeleteI am sorry you are still so sick. Sounds like your family has been through the wringer with that virus. Sorry your buyer backed out. We will be putting our house on the market soon. Not looking forward to that song and dance.
ReplyDeleteOlivia, it is a necessary evil, but hopefully all goes well.
DeleteHope you start to feel better soon and sorry about the backer. Lots of good books on your list. I added a new Nancy Drew book to my collection a bit ago and a collection of short stories by Louis L'Amour. Otherwise, not much new right now.
ReplyDeleteLisa, I am pretty excited about all the choices I have with books right now :)
DeleteSo disappointing that your buyers backed out. There are crazy things happening in the real estate market now! My daughter and her husband just closed on their house and they have a couple of horror stories. Good luck with your sale. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks JoAnn!
DeleteI’m sorry to hear you’re so sick, but glad your family is recovering. I guess, with the buyer backing out you’ll have a bit more time to find a new home? Hopefully, you found lots of great fabric! I’m liking the Hearts Aweigh cover!
ReplyDeleteThanks Patricia. Our house needs to be under contract before we put an offer on a house.
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well and that the house fell through. I hope this week is a better one for you. Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Yvonne!
DeleteI didn't know you quilted. It is a hobby I wish I had picked up earlier. Now I am too lazy for such fine work.
ReplyDeleteAnne, I am decent at sewing pieces together, but still learning how to quilt the top of the quilts.
DeleteOh no! Sorry to hear about the house sale falling through. Hopefully there will be another buyer soon!
ReplyDeleteI like the cover of Hearts Aweigh!
Have a great week! Hope you are fully recovered soon!
Thanks Marg!
