Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. The Stacking the Shelves meme is hosted at Reading Reality.

Other updates:
I finished three books this week and DNF'd one. I have started another audio book, and since I got THREE from Net Galley, I know what my next three are after I finish Winning the Gentleman by Kristi Ann Hunter. I also did an update on my family blog this week as well.
What you might have missed on the blog this week:
Book Review: Emma M. Lion Vol 8 by Beth Brower
Book Review: Hidden Libraries
Top Ten Tuesday: Beach Reads
Book Review: Vying for the Viscount by Kristi Ann Hunter
Book Review: Kissing Adrien by Siri L. Mitchell
I am also linking up with the Sunday Post. The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted at Caffeinated Reviewer. I will also be joining Deb at Readerbuzz for the Sunday Salon.
I wonder what is going on with your health issue. I hope the doctors can get to the bottom of it.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing what you are adding to your shelves. Enjoy!
Thanks Deb!
DeleteHoping you feel better soon. Have the doctors run some blood work for you?
ReplyDeleteThe Second Story Bookstore is right up my alley.
Tina, yes, I have had bloodwork, they found nothing. I am currently wearing a heart monitor, but I expect it to show nothing as well.
DeleteCongrats on finishing those books. I'm a slow reader and am still in the middle of several books!
ReplyDeleteHarvee, thanks. I am a quick reader, and now I am spending close to 3 hours in the car a week, commuting to and from work, so the audiobooks are going faster as well.
DeleteGood luck with the health issues!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mae.
DeleteI do love a good Jane Austen like book. I hope you enjoy all your new books.

Thanks Val.
DeleteBe so kind to yourself! I am having health issues too and started my new back to school week on Thursday. I know it's so hard to do all the things when you feel bad. Glad you have some time to decompress this weekend. Looking forward to August blog posts from the book world....keeps my spirits up!
ReplyDeleteMy teacher work days start this coming Wednesday: hope you are feeling better soon as well.
DeleteShellie-Oh no, I hope you are feeling better too! And, that your health issues don't affect your work, at least not too much. Yes, this weekend has been wonderfully relaxing and WAY over due. I love all the bookish posts as well, thank God for this bookish community!
DeleteI am so sorry to read about your health issues. I hope you are able to figure out what is going on. I hope work goes well for you this week. With our last move, I started packing before we had a house or a move date too. There was so much to do! I imagine it is the same for you.
ReplyDeleteWith a title like The Second Story Bookshop, how can a person not want to read that? I hope you enjoy it when you read it. I have my eye on Sense & Suitability. I have a soft spot for Jane Austen re-imaginings.
I hope you have a good week an are able to get some sleep. Take care!
Thanks Wendy! Yes, I am SUPER excited about all the Net Galley books this week, but Pepper Basham is one of my favorites.
DeleteHopefully the doctors can figure out what is going on. Eleanor had something similar last summer. She would suddenly feel dizzy and her heart was beating really fast. She wore a monitor for a couple weeks but it did not show anything irregular and resolved on its own I guess, since there was nothing the doctor could find. Praying for you for answers ASAP!
ReplyDeleteSarah, it's scary, isn't it? I have passed out a few times, which is also scary, but this has been going on for over two weeks, I totally don't get it. They want to send me to a syncope clinic, but there is no wait list, and the earliest I could possibly get in would be Feb 2026, I am praying this is resolved by then. I am wearing a heart monitor for 2 weeks, but I don't expect it to have the answers.
DeleteI'm sorry to hear you still aren't feeling well. I hope your health issues are resolved soon. I'll be thinking good thoughts for your complete recovery.
ReplyDeleteThanks Yvonne!
DeleteI sorry to hear you’re not feeling well. Has your Dr order a Holter monitor yet? It traces your heart rhythm over 24 hours. Take care.
ReplyDeleteJodie, yes, I am in one for two weeks. I had one earlier this year and it didn't show anything, so I don't know that it will this time either.
DeleteWaking up feeling like you're going to pass out sounds terrifying! I hope the doctors can figure out the cause and solution quickly! Could be something as simple as dehydration or an inner ear thingy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jinjer!
DeleteOh my goodness! I hope you find out what's causing such terrifying symptoms! And yet, with that and work, you've read three books! So proud of you! Take good care!
ReplyDeleteThanks Patricia!
DeleteThe Second Story Bookshop looks really good! I love books about books and bookshops! I'm sorry that your health issue hasn't been resolved. I hope you feel better soon and that everything turns out well. Take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteThanks Haze!
DeleteHope you get some answers about your health issues soon!
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of The Second Story Bookshop.
Have a great week!
Thanks Marg!
DeletePraying your health issues are resolved soon, Cindy. Not having solid weekend plans is lovely. The Second Story Bookshop needs to go on my wish list. Enjoy your week.
